Yes and no. This wasn't an attack on Cortex. I bought my JRis from MM and did't receive dyno plots either. I'm more trying to figure out if the dampers are built with a dyno at JRi or just assembled. For $1K a corner, yes, I assumed they would be checked on a shock dyno. It also would help...
Re: What did you do to your boss today? You're right, I misread the article. I have the AD08s (non R) that need to be replaced but I'm waiting for reviews on the RE-71R and Rival S.
Re: What did you do to your boss today? For Tire Rack's warm weather test, the Hankooks and Yoks did better than the Dunlops. The Dunlop Direzza ZII Star Spec felt adequate, but under these conditions could not match the grip of the Hankook and Yokohama tires. The g-Force Rival didn't have...
IMO, go run a couple autox events before deciding what you need to do next. Every surface and driver is different. And when you do make a change to the car, you'll have a better idea if it made you faster or slower.

I'm installing the MM LCA relocation brackets this weekend and the instructions say to trim the tab on the back by 1/4". Has anyone just removed them completely? As far as I know, they are only on the car to reduce NVH but do they serve any sort of purpose for performance?
Have you had a chance to abuse these yet? What do you think about them? Any opionions on the build quality, ease of adjusting, etc?MM has the JRi damper kit on sale today and I'm close to pulling the trigger.Kyle
Adam, I run my dampers at 5/5 on the street and feel like it's the best setup at our autox. It's a very flat surface and I can adjust tire pressure faster than I can adjust my rear shocks (where's my trunk monkey?) With traction control all the way off, I may need to back off the rear shocks a...
Terry's article is a good read but he's basically trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. He really needs to focus on ESP and quit playing around in ST.I'm no Andy Hollis at an autox but I've got a few laps under my belt. The first thing I noticed when autoxing my boss was a lack of...
