We are under contract for a house in Troy. And as @Bill Pemberton says, lots of tracks in the near / mid-distance area. Once settled and house in CO sells, will be moving forward on finding a trailer to tow since distances will be greater.
Well thanks! Get to spend my birthday prepping the house for sale and organizing a move to leave CO and head to IL. None of this was part of my 2023 summer plans!!But hey, I got another good year in the books so can't complain.
@Fabman , I just found out that if I don't buy a house with a pool already installed, it might be a 2+ year wait and about $70K (just one place's estimate). My trailer budget may have just taken a massive hit! Guess the 2 on the market WITH a pool got more enticing. Vast majority of what I have...
@Fabman , Im still looking online at trailer options, probably after I relocate pull the trigger. The first item I keep coming back to is with the width of the mustang, how tight it is on a 8.5 wide trailer. Does one need to go the ramp over route? Looks like not per your pics. Which is good...
Do you have a picture looking into the trailer from the rear unloaded? I have been looking and very few of the ones I see have ramp over for the trailer's wheels. Even "race trailers".Im also new to this search, and it's hard to tell which ones are quality, mid grade and just garbage brands...
Funny, when we decided to get a bigger camper for towing, I still had a WRX, so the truck was for camping, forest runs and yard work. So I found a smoking deal on a Dodge 3500. Eventually sold the WRX, my wife took the Audi and I WFH, so my DD is the 3500 or the Mustang, but Im so used to it...
First let's address the elephant in the room. I may not be old, but Im not young anymore; but getting all the way down on the ground and scooting around is a PITA! :) Just you wait you whippersnapper! Car is lowered a little, but welding hooks like @Fabman says seems like and easy enhancement...
I completely get @JDee 's thought process, but doesn't account for a couple factors....
1) In for a penny, in for a pound, my truck gets bad mileage unloaded, barely loaded or fully loaded.
2) ability to bring extra and just have it locked up secure
3) ability to give the kids a safe place to...
I did see a couple threads
https://trackmustangsonline.com/threads/28-enclosed-car-trailer-order-question.7060/ <-- makes me really consider 24 or 28 ft for the space.I never use the awning on my camper for fear of wind blowing it over the roof. Just as soon get a popup with weighted buckets.
Looks like I will be moving in a couple months. Currently I drive the 30 miles and don't go much further out. New area has many tracks in the 3-6 hour range, so looks like I am going to be towing more and renting is a PITA. Im also thinking of getting a RallyCross toy. Im curious what features...
Forgot to update. I did take the sensors out and cleaned, but they were not bad, but an easy confirmation. I could find no evidence of anyone else reporting ABS issues where ABS / TCS everything failed. Errors could be reset, then within 20 miles would eventually retrigger all the errors. I did...
