Slowly making progress, ATI balancer installed, trying to fine tune some of the pulley alignment, and routing vacuum/boost lines and fuel lines. The radiator for the intercooler is rather large and required some component relocation: horn removed, bend metal under hood latch, move steering...
No, but per your suggestion I managed to remove the bottom 3/4" nipple and threaded a pipe plug into it. I drilled a 1/4" hole through the plug. I think I may have given myself premature arthritis when trying to thread the nipple back in under intake behind bracket. Lol
I don't think the metal tube will fit under the new intake manifold. It's low enough you have to cut half of the head off the knock sensor bolts. I had to whack a corner off the intake flange too. I reused the plastic fittings, since they are in good condition, and installed the plastic...
Making progress on the supercharger install. Swapped all pulleys from 6 to 8 rib, except for one (it's in the mail). It uses a 12% od ATI super damper and doubles up the tensioner (Frankentensioner). Stock intake replaced with billet intake and intercooler assembly. Heat exchanger is about 4...
Being in my second year as a business owner, working on the rest of the fleet, and dealing with an aging parent hasn't left much time for me to get to the track. Things have changed enough that I once again have some free time. So time to install some accumulated parts!
All my remaining...

I bought one of these but haven't installed it yet. I figured it would eliminate one more thing while still learning to drive on track. I'm curious how it works out for you.
1000° to 1300°f range. But the color didn't match exactly, so I plan on redoing it before next track day. I'll let y'all be the judge. The orange hoses are on front brakes.
The Continental tires worked very well at Dominion on a mostly dry surface. 35 psi hot gave me even temps across the rear tires and still about 5°f cooler on the outside of the front. I'm thinking of going from -3.3° to -3.0° camber on the front. The new springs handled well too. The car still...
I bought a set of used gt500 18×9.5 wheels and ordered a set of Continental Extreme Contact Force tires in 275/35r18. I thought these would be good wet weather track tires and being narrower and a 200 treadwear will keep me in a lower class if I decide to pursue time trails. Maybe they will help...
I enjoyed Dominion Raceway, it's a 2 mile track with a 1/2 mile straightaway. I'll probably go back again. The Steeda springs did well, minimal body roll and not unpleasantly stiff either. It was my 1st time with street tires on track, they seemed kinda squirmy compared to Proxes RRs. It was...
Been a couple minutes since I've updated this, I've had some of my other projects occupying my time. I got a set of quickjacks, actually, my wife did. I think she felt sorry for me with the floor jack and jack stands. And they work great! My car sits so low they won't slide under without...
