Really appreciate the advice :).
The racing season here starts around November and somtimes not until December, with ambient temps around 20C its not too bad. I will eventually upgrade to 2 piece rotor and better pads but I just got my EC-7 wheels and I need a couple of safety/reliability...
Yep, imagine my surprise the very first time going to this monstrous track with Hawk HPS pads, lol. Fortunately I wasn't brave enough to go that fast and still cooked them, which made me look seriously into brakes and now I have about every mod one could do.
Yeah its really fun, and fast too which means brakes get really toasty lol. There is another configuration for the inner track which I like better because its not as hard on brakes.I do have brake ducts and I'm running carbotech XP10 and yet I'm hitting their limit. I think its because of the...
Finally got around to upload.
Couple of notes, this is my seconed fastest lap, fastest was 2:34.74. Also I'm braking a bit early because I was having brake fade.
It started with a car I must have, then the fun weekend car, for some time the daily, and now its my track car. Who knows what'll happen in the future.

I see, well the stock brake setup is more than capable and can go beyond that with upgrades. Given that you have the basics, brake ducts and a good pad, you can buy stainless steel pistons, SS lines and upgrade to two piece rotors and that would be more than enough without breaking the bank on a...
Well I searched Brembo's website and I only saw 6-piston calipers listed specifically for the BOSS302. I saw 3 options, 2 of which are cast aluminum which are the GT line. These are like the OEM calipers so there aren't any upgrades there. The third option is the billet monoblock (GT-R line)...
I've been also researching brakes for my car and this is what I concluded. The larger rotors and pads are about heat management while keeping the balance of the brake bias.
If you haven't had issues with overheating then the 4 bot / 14" will be fine. Unless you'll run aero or stickier tires...
