Exactly! This technique has worked well for me while using the Ford Racing shifter and bracket (aka Barton). However, the total solution will be as Rick and others have mentioned... Clutch upgrade.

Yesterday while stopped at a traffic light on rt 60 in Malden, Ma. I saw a Kona Blue Boss in one of the bay's of the Century Autobody shop. The shop's doors were open so I was able to get a glimpse as I drove by in traffic. I didn't see any major damage. I hope it doesn't belong to anyone here.
I was driving through Pepperell Sunday morning but didn't see any Boss'. Perhaps it was you I saw driving through Devens a couple years ago... We both gave a wave.
I feel your pain!!! Mine has been hybernating in the garage on the battery tender since the second week in December. Over three feet of snow on the ground now with another 12+ inches expected tomorrow. Hang in there it won't be long now!
Interesting. Which MGW bushing? Is it the most forward bushing attached to the tubular arm from the stock setup? Do you have a link for this bushing? I too have the Barton setup (FRPP branded) and am interested.....
I too use the Autometer Elite gauges both oil pressure and temperature. Fully programable like TMSBOSS has indicated. I use a dual pillar pod from here. http://www.speedofsoundllc.com/2005-upMustangPod.html I also installed the dimmer to allow for full dimming capability for night/low light...
