Going to tackle the changes this weekend. Needed to get my one stupid question out of the way for the year surrounding rear spring preload.any tips on doing this correctly or is it as easy as jacking the axle up setting desired preload and disconnecting each shock and adjust accordingly?
I have a habit of installing things, thinking the car feels neutral and driving through it. I want to actually “learn” something this season and wanted to make tweaks to my 3V starting with ride height. I’m currently sitting at 14” from middle of wheel to top of fender with stock gt500 ball...
I just went through this same thing and ended up going with a BMR 11+ upper mount with whiteline UCA with Max C bushings and a 2014 GT500 diff bushing. I feel this was the best set up for a street/hpde car.
Competed in the first round of the optima ultimate street car in Las Vegas and the car performed great. They had an “track cross” segment instead of a traditional autocross where you can get 100mph on portions or the track so the little 3V was in trouble. Overall the car performed great with all...
It’s been a tire that was in development for a while. We had a good group of guys that competed and did well in the series on the K+ and it will still serve a purpose in the marketing moving forward. The life cycle on a product in the 200tw segment is a bit out of control with a newest and...
Looks like they will be on back order for a while from Vorshlag. Anyone have have a set they want to part with. I can only get around 2.2 degrees out of my maximum kit and want to fit 19x11’s.
Thanks. You cant go wrong with forged 19x11's that weight 19 pounds each. The GT500 diff bushing actually came up on TMO a couple of times which made me do more research. With the power/torque the 13-14 GT500's came with the bushing has a higher durometer with less cross sectional rubber. It's...
It’s been a while since I updated this but the car has been going through some changes before hitting the track in a few weeks.I opted to go with the 2011 whitline UCA with Mac C bushings and BMR mount. I also installed a 2014 GT500 diff bushing to finish out a nice street/track set up.I...
Glad to know there is other people running powder coated wheels. Its the old debate on the heat from powder coating making the wheels brittle or not. I talked to my guy and he said they coat the wheels with less than 400 degrees so it gave me piece of mind.Anyone seen any wheel failure due to...
Anyone have experience running these on the front? I was looking for a good cross over pad between autocross and track. Most of the track days I run is 8-10 minutes a session combined with me driving a 3v (slow). I'm currently in between wilwood BP20 and BP30 pads and looking for another...
Although they are outselling the numbers are a bit inflated due to fords rental car fleet sales.Base there is more vert ecoboost sitting in rental lots than camaro’s. I’m willing to bet that’s where dodge makes a lot of their sales as well in their forecast.
