  1. Another Boss for the pack

Thanks guys for all of the prayers and thoughts. I have been fighting this disease for exactly five years now (Diagnosed in January 2010) and have mostly been living with it since then with some really yucky treatments intermixed. I do not want to stick this depressing thread in hear and make it...
  2. Another Boss for the pack

I bought and restored my first Boss to fulfill a desire to own a piece of American racing history back in 1987 that I knew would be unobtainable if I waited too long to purchase one. I was right given the crazy price escalation that was to occur in the late 1980's and into the 1990's.When I...
  3. Extended Warranty

OK, looks like I get to save some money on this that option! It makes. Sense since you trackey guys beat on your car more often than the mild driving silver key guys. That must mean that the trackey enabled cars will have some problem around 36,000 miles. Anyone have over 36,000 miles? If so...
  4. Extended Warranty

Has anyone gone for the extended warranty? If so, what did you oay for it?I got a note in the mail about upgrading the warranty and with less than a year to the 3 year limit, I am thinks ng about it.....John
  5. What should I buy at the Ford Dealer?

Even on a street car, the trans cooler makes a huge difference in how hot the shifter gets. That plus it's a cheap mod makes it on the list.John
  6. 2012 BOSS 302 Certificates now available!!!!

Nice job guys and gals at Ford for bringing this "cool crap" to market to support the enthusiasts!!! I like that Ford has put aside budget to support the folks that like this kinda cool stuff. I guess Lois Eminger had a brilliant idea to keep all of that "old paperwork" that they were throwing...

  8. Finally, a photo of my father's day present.

Realizing that my son spent so much time working on my Father's Day present really was touching.
  9. 2013 boss wrong rear bumper

Get it repaired and sell the existing one. What number is this one? My guess is that the factory didn't do this.John
  10. Trackey Installation Nightmare....

Trackey has been an installation issue for a lot of dealers. Mine required a whole day and taking the car back once in order to get it done right. I'm surprised that Ford set it up to be such a nightmare to program. I have been designing embedded systems for 30 years and to require a network...
  11. Did you know......

I have a rear set in the hatch area of my wife's focus. It is awesome and fits perfect. Also, it come ready to be trimmed for the stock focus or for the ST with the Reardon enclosure. Very nice product!
  12. plates Coming in mail where front?

The no drill bracket works great. Use two rubber bumpers at the top to avoid the wind causing it to hit the bumper cover. I also used the bracket that came with the Boss do it appears to be screwed in but it isn't. You can see it in my photo below.John
  13. Keeping it original - or new parts...

The genuine ford stickers are all over my boss. Those are what I am referring to.John
  14. Keeping it original - or new parts...

I would try to get the originals worked out and re-sprayed. Each part has a registration sticker which I would try to preserve. Make sure you take it to a high end body shop. Second choice would be Ford factory replacement parts. It doesn't sound to me like a really good body shop couldn't save...
