Thanks guys for all of the prayers and thoughts. I have been fighting this disease for exactly five years now (Diagnosed in January 2010) and have mostly been living with it since then with some really yucky treatments intermixed. I do not want to stick this depressing thread in hear and make it...
I bought and restored my first Boss to fulfill a desire to own a piece of American racing history back in 1987 that I knew would be unobtainable if I waited too long to purchase one. I was right given the crazy price escalation that was to occur in the late 1980's and into the 1990's.When I...
OK, looks like I get to save some money on this that option! It makes. Sense since you trackey guys beat on your car more often than the mild driving silver key guys. That must mean that the trackey enabled cars will have some problem around 36,000 miles. Anyone have over 36,000 miles? If so...
Has anyone gone for the extended warranty? If so, what did you oay for it?I got a note in the mail about upgrading the warranty and with less than a year to the 3 year limit, I am thinks ng about it.....John

Trackey has been an installation issue for a lot of dealers. Mine required a whole day and taking the car back once in order to get it done right. I'm surprised that Ford set it up to be such a nightmare to program. I have been designing embedded systems for 30 years and to require a network...
I have a rear set in the hatch area of my wife's focus. It is awesome and fits perfect. Also, it come ready to be trimmed for the stock focus or for the ST with the Reardon enclosure. Very nice product!
The no drill bracket works great. Use two rubber bumpers at the top to avoid the wind causing it to hit the bumper cover. I also used the bracket that came with the Boss do it appears to be screwed in but it isn't. You can see it in my photo below.John
I would try to get the originals worked out and re-sprayed. Each part has a registration sticker which I would try to preserve. Make sure you take it to a high end body shop. Second choice would be Ford factory replacement parts. It doesn't sound to me like a really good body shop couldn't save...
