My stupidity allowed my silver key to walk off. Anyone know where I can purchase a replacement? My Red Key is programmed; any problems with losing the Track Key Program?
Wow! This would put the "regular" Boss in the same class as V6 Mustangs and standard GT's- F Street. I've never thought about autocrossing but may do it if it gets approved.http://www.solomatters.com/street_category_moves_for_2015What it says: Ford Mustang Boss 302 non-Laguna Seca...
I bought my Boss knowing there would be faster, better handling and braking Mustangs in the future but this is the one I want in my garage for the next 25 years; not as an investment but just because I absolutely love it. Looks, size, color, drivability, in your face sound and on and on...
Fairly certain that it is the AC Stretchy Belt Configuration covered by the 12-8-14 TSB. Intermittent tick at idle once the engine warms. http://cdn.lrsstatic.com/downloads/tsb05-14/tsb12-08-14.pdf
Only downside to the Trackey-riders tend to get a bit motion sick! The increased engine brake and throttle response gets to mine. Recently had a rider when we were doing a back roads trip request that I change back to silver key.
His vehicle number of 2956 would have been one of the last 2012's built; may have nothing to do with the other problem that surfaced with the drilling in the heads that has been discussed, sometimes things just break.
The color is awesome but the paint job on this car is incredible. Glad to hear that the car ended up with a Boss fan and hasn't gone straight to the auction block. Enjoy this gem.
Re: Track Attack !!!!!!!!!!!!!!A couple points of advice; first of all, take advantage of this opportunity. It is a blast. Secondly, go with a group if possible; me and two buddies went together and it even added to the fun. Don't know anyone with a Boss? They are all over these forums...
Every Friday night during the spring and summer in Milford, Ohio, just outside of Cincinnati, a few hundred of the coolest most diverse set of rides shows up for a cruise-in like you just can't believe. Tonight there had to be 400 cars that turned out. Several Shelby GT500's and my Boss-even 2...
Your subject line should serve as a warning; if you aren't serious about buying, don't test drive. Once I did, there was no turning back.Enjoy; amazing how I have driven 1200 miles with mine to nowhere; just jump in and start driving.
Not yet, I'm still confused about whether the TK voids the Ford ESP Warranty. I want to buy a 7 year, 36,000 mile warranty but have read conflicting reports about it.
