I want to get started in Time Trials in my GT350. Thoughts on my particular setup and SCCA vs NASA?

Yes, they are, but at like $470 from Tire Rack they're some of the most expensive options in that sizing.

On the 350 or the 500? I know of one user who's had issues with the AR1's on a 500.

Yok's come in a 19, but only a 295/35-19 sizing.Supercar 3R is a great tire, but agreed not even worth discussing when they cost you as many "points" as a Hoosier. The Supercar 3 is a great tire, just not quite at the pointy end of the performance spectrum.I'd probably rank those tires as...

I don't think those will be at the pointy end of the competition sphere. I'd be looking into Yokohama A052's, Kumho V730's, or Potenza RE-71RS's.

Gen2 Engine Rebuild Needed or not?

Technically you could pull the one rod and piston combo by just removing the cylinder head covering cylinder 8 and the oil pan. Depending on what went on you could potentially just put a new piston and rings into that cylinder and re-use the rod and even the rod bearings if you're trying to be...

    Plastic chassis front end

I imagine it comes down to complexity, cost, and improvement potential.

DSC Magnaride Controllers - Issues, Tunes, Experiences?

Only they can with their datalogging software.

DSC Magnaride Controllers - Issues, Tunes, Experiences?

On the street there are minimal changes between normal and sport. In track mode it definitely firms up a lot in transitions. Definitely agree that you don't feel as much difference between modes as stock. With the stock controller it honestly felt like Normal was way under-damped and Sport was...

    Plastic chassis front end

Only real option is factory replacement part. Contact The Parts Farm who part out mustangs all the time. May have a car that got rear-ended that has one that's in good shape.https://thepartsfarm.com/

    S550 rhino5oh's 2018 Shelby GT350

Thanks. I actually used this decal application sheet from the Tamiya model kit for the GT4 Mustang to help lay it all out.

    S550 rhino5oh's 2018 Shelby GT350

Comical. I literally just did the same but haven't posted anything yet while waiting for a photoshoot on Monday. I incorporated some additional decals on the hood and added some of the Ford Performance Decals on the rear 3/4's and revised the decals along the door to match the parts on the...

Better buy, Mach 1 or GT500?

The CFTP cars received different spring rates and sway bars I believe.

Which Quick Release Splitter Brackets & Other Related Questions

Are you replying to my comment and suggesting I look at the way I setup my splitter for an answer to the problem? LOL. My primary concern was the location of the primary mounts compared to mine and how that may interfere with the brake ducts. Even with where my primary mounts are situated, I had...

Which Quick Release Splitter Brackets & Other Related Questions

Agreed. AJ's is about the only 3D front splitter out there. The rest are flat and maybe include tunnels. I'm relying on the factory GT350 underbody tunnels as they're bigger than I'd be allowed in my class so my setup if just a large front splitter extension essentially.

Which Quick Release Splitter Brackets & Other Related Questions

Flyhalf's solution seems to be a great one for and he mounts the splitter mounts more inboard than my setup does. This may be why he also suggests outer support rods along with forward support rods similar to AJ Hartman's configuration. On a GT350 though it almost looks like Seed Italia's setup...
