  1. 2012 boss or 2013

Good point. The electronic dash doo-dad isn't technically an option. Neither is SYNC. And both are available on the other models, so ... there isn't anything new to entice owners to the '13, except the styling changes.Along those lines, for "less options" i'm going to guess Yellow Blaze...
  2. This is why I wanted SYNC in my Boss

I always wonder what is so important that you have to talk about it / text about it on the phone while you are driving? "swing by the store and get milk" You know what time I leave work, you should have told me before I left. "hey bff, wat u doin?" ...I'm driving and I'll answer you when I get...
  3. 2012 boss or 2013

True, but like 2012YellowBoss said, they needed to meet a certain production number for racing. Also, they introduced the '69 Boss late in the year ~ so only about a half year of production. IIRC, they added "comforts" to the '70 in order to entice buyers so that they could sell enough to meet...
  4. 2012 boss or 2013

Well, if they base production on numbers ordered, then I would anticipate FEWER being built in 2013. Look at past history of "2 year production run" models. Fewer '04 Cobras than '03 Cobras. Same for '03/04 Mach 1's. How have the Sheby's fared in thier roughly 2 year cycle of improvements...
  5. Wheel well forward molding extension buring from side pipes on my LS ?

could you throw a strip or 2 of metal tape on there? Y'know, not duct tape, but the stiff shiney aluminum(?) tape. I'm thinking it would help reflect heat off, and at the very least provide a bit of barrier between the exhaust gasses and the plastic. Might be easier than trying to fabricate an...
  6. Mustangsdaily.com Article

I agree about the 2010+ taillights. They grow on ya. Besides that, only the competition will be getting a good look at the ugly sumb!tches :-)Yeah, i'm seeing Camaro hips and front lamp / foglight styling, with maybe some Mercedes-esque front end shape. When they showed off the '05 concept...
  7. Thoughts on whether our Boss 302's will have future value.

Well, I gotta chime in on this one too :-)I agree with what everyone else has said: it will be worth more than a GT of a similar age. As the years pass, it will be worth considerably more than a GT of a similar age. Of course condition, miles, color and options will be a factor as well...
  8. Anybody named their cars yet?

Buttercup is a cool name for a yellow car. Just think about slicing through those corners "like buttah"! LOL!Or, if you prefer, there is the Powerpuff Girl - Buttercup (she's the fiesty one of the bunch)! Although she wears green...http://powerpuff.wikia.com/wiki/Buttercup
  9. Poor-Man's Ram Air for the Boss?

Alrite, so I'm thinking....Take a Boss 302S grille with the vented foglight holes...... get some ducting and run it from the vented foglight hole on the driver's side and either hook it up to your Cold Air Intake, or connect it into the stock tube where the flex duct is...(maybe put a...
