  2. Mobil 1 0W-40 Availability/Shortage

If I buy the M1 0w40, how often to change it? After every track event? Or is after every 2-3 events ok?
  3. Mobil 1 0W-40 Availability/Shortage

Hey guys, I have a dual purpose 5.0. Non-daily driven, just weekend and occasional track days. I am looking into running 40-weight oil and M1 40-weight seems like a very popular option across different forums. I have not tried 40-weight oil before, and I know they are labeled as "for european...
  4. 5W-20 or 5W-30

    Thanks for the explanation Paul.
  5. 5W-20 or 5W-30

How do I know if an oil I am looking at meets Ford specifications or exceeds it?For instance, for my 2017 5.0, the owner manual specifies 5W20 with specification, WSS-M2C945-A. I want to run something like Amsoil Signature 5w30 for my car which is primarily a weekend car which sees some track...
  6. 5W-20 or 5W-30

I have a dual-purpose car. My 5.0 is not daily, is mostly a weekend car that sees some occasional track days.Would running a good brand 5w30 such as Amsoil Signature Series or Redline be good enough for a weekend car that sees some occasional track time?
  7. Newbie Question About Track Insurance

Was there a reason why you didn't file the claim using Lockton at the end and instead using USAA? Won't the use of your primary insurance raise premiums?
  8. Newbie Question About Track Insurance

Thanks for the info. I already checked in with my insurance earlier. HPDE will not be covered. I even pulled up the full policy to confirm. And thats good to know, everyone is just responsible for their own car after signing the waiver, no need to purchase liability insurance then
  9. Newbie Question About Track Insurance

So when we sign the waivers at the track, we are agreeing you can't sue the track AND other drivers if something goes wrong then. If that's the case, there's no need to even buy liability insurance of any sort.
  10. Newbie Question About Track Insurance

Hey guys, I'm considering purchasing track insurance for my first HPDE event and I have some questions.1. I am considering Lockton, they are a little bit cheaper than RLI/Haggerty. I am mainly considering Lockton over the other 2. After reading other people's positive experiences with them on...

  12. Cheap Rotors are Best Rotors - Change my Mind (Raybestos R-Line vs other rotors)

Do you happen to know of a place where I can get the 120 premium rotors?
  13. Cheap Rotors are Best Rotors - Change my Mind (Raybestos R-Line vs other rotors)

I did not see the 120 as a selection on rock auto. What's the added advantage of the 120 over the 121 other than corrosion protection? Does it perform better?I know TMO recommends centric rotors. But are they actually better than OEM or just rotors that's cost effective that members dont mind...
  14. Cheap Rotors are Best Rotors - Change my Mind (Raybestos R-Line vs other rotors)

I am so sorry to reply to an old thread but I am a track noob and I need some help. So, would these be ok to run on a 17 5.0 non-pp?https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=7464168&cc=3424235&pt=1896&jsn=477&jsn=477...
