  1. Mustangs and TMO Members at the CAM Challenge --- more posts to come from the Solo Nationals!

You're welcome and thank your wife again for the Cam Challenge photos!
  2. Time Trial groups

In Midiv SCCA they have a unique TT rule set that is functions like the NASA Road Race and TT Rules I have read in the past (https://www.midiv.org/time-trials/) Its based on power to weight with a range of modifiers for aero, tires, etc. that you use to set your cars class. Its works better...
  3. Mustangs and TMO Members at the CAM Challenge --- more posts to come from the Solo Nationals!

I expected the CAM Challenge to be a blast and it didn't disappoint. The fun course, close competition and dinner at the Museum of Speed were all awesome. Having "Little Al" competing too was a huge unexpected bonus. My work assignment put me inline with the slalom. Watching the different...
  4. True 3-link rear suspension

No unfortunately this was back before digital cameras and smart phones were not a thing so I didn't snap allot of photos.I whipped up a paint drawing that shows a side view of how the mount looked. The grey parts are the mount. I omitted the upper control arm ears from the drawing. The...
  5. True 3-link rear suspension

This car has a three link that goes into the interior of the car and attaches to the cage. All three links were the same length. My bracket for the third link was different than the ones I am seeing in this thread. Basically it was like an upside down Griggs torque arm mount in that it...
  6. Autocross tire question?

Not a great photo but these are 285/35 19 RE 71RS on 19x11 rims square. I am running Steeda dual rate comp springs F&R. No fitment issue and the tires look just fine on the the 11" rims. No experience on Falkens but compared to the Nankangs I was on before these tires are freakin amazing...
  7. Merry Christmas everyone

    Merry Christmas!!
  8. Any feedback on the Nankang CR-S yet?

I ran Nankangs all last year in 275 40 18 on an 18x10. As far as how good they are compared to other brands I would defer to Dave W. From a wear standpoint they are pretty amazing. Also, I read several reports that state that these tires don't seem to heat cycle out before wearing out...
  9. Has anyone installed the BMR jacking rails along with the Ford Performance tie down kits?

I use the Watson Racing tie downs on the front: https://www.lethalperformance.com/watson-racing-2015-2017-s550-mustang-front-tie-down-kit.html These work great for the winch and then the tie downs once I have car where I want it in the trailer. On the back I use tie downs that have built in...
  10. When Rims are Wheels , or how to spoil Blacksheep's Thanksgiving Weekend!

If "Steering Rim" ever becomes a thing, I am dusting off my golf clubs.
