Yeah, that is odd. Maybe the air is trapped in there and its melting after you park it? I haven't looked close enough to see what the air flow is like in / around there.
So, I was googling stuff and came across this thread that I hadn't seen before. As someone who has raced with a HANS for ~10 years and has now gone back to track days in a street car, I found this interesting.I see that this is 2 years old. Has anyone seen/heard anything to update or change...
I grabbed this post in this thread because it seems like the closest thing I could find here that described the path to a better handling track/DD GT350 and the order for a step-by-step build up. Maybe we should clean it up and make it a sticky???SO.... I just finished my first track day in...
I wish I had known this was an issue prior to purchase. I would have looked at other brands. I don't need or want "full-race" pads I need pads that will work for track days and not over heat with the GT350 (and ideally not turn to concrete on my rims). I will drive the car to some track events...
I am SO GLAD you posted this! I ran the Raybestos pads for the first time on my GT350 at Charlotte in the rain and when I got home I had these concrete deposits in the nook on every spoke of my front rims. The Raybestos worked great on track but I had to buy a gallon of Sonax and spent three...
If they went through the process of making the software update and it is better, why not install it on all ECUs? My 6.7L PSD F350 has had several updates in the 4 years I've had it. Most of them were for durability and to prevent excessive limp-mode situations when a sensor goes bad or something...
It is smoother of you come in wide. It was challenging becuase there was a creek running across the track there.Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
FYI, (just for clarification) this is the first time an anniversary event has been associated with the Mustang Museum (since it is brand new). I attended the 30th, 35th, 40th, 45th, 50th, and 55th anniversary Mustang events and all were held on or about April 17th of their respective years...
You made those laps look so calm and smooth. I ran there two days ago (Friday only-rainy day) with the Mustang 55th group and I felt a lot more tense and I felt like I was working harder. Nice job!
Probably because I hadn't had my new GT350 on track for a real track day and it was partially...
I'm getting ready to tackle this stud install job on my GT350 front hubs in preparation for my shiny new Apex wheels. I've done this several times on my SN95 cars. I know you said the hub has to come off. Any tricks or "gotchas"? Obviously, the wheel, caliper, rotor have to come off. Is it just...
