    MT82 repairs/upgrades/parts/tech advice

I sure wish he’d sold me one of his proprietary GForce gearsets when I did my build. The best I could to was have mine treated.

2019 Bullitt fuel pump failure while on E85 with BAP

Yes, that is correct, one brush is gone/seized up (no springiness to it, whereas the other one does have springiness to it). There was a little dust, but I didn’t see anything excessive.

2019 Bullitt fuel pump failure while on E85 with BAP

I don’t think so, but I guess anything is possible. It sure caught me by surprise.

2019 Bullitt fuel pump failure while on E85 with BAP

I recently had the factory fuel pump fail in my 2019 Bullitt (with just 6900 miles on the odometer) which had been on E85 with a JMS BAP for three years. The failure happened without any advance warning and at one of the busiest intersections in town, resulting in me having to get the car towed...

Very nice! Great job on the install and kudos on the 1/4 mile hits as well.

    MT82 repairs/upgrades/parts/tech advice

Rebuilding my MT82-D4 was the very first transmission that I have ever built. While there were a few challenges, I wouldn’t say that it was extremely difficult to do (maybe a 6.5 on a scale of 1-10). I‘m not trying to sound arrogant when I say this, but I think a lot of it is mind over matter. I...

What clutch do you have in mind and where are you at on power?

    MT82 repairs/upgrades/parts/tech advice

You got a smoking good deal to have your tranny rebuilt with enhanced parts for $600! Anyone looking to rebuild theirs should definitely follow your lead on this.I paid $600 just for Cryo treating my MT82-D4’s internals. My parts bill just kept running up from there:- $375 for carbon...

Someone said... Got that feeling in the clutch pedal, I know it time to replace it

Did these issues occur before or after your transmission was rebuilt?

    2011 V6 6-Speed Mustang for Endurance Racing

Here is what my input shaft bearing looked like at 6400 miles. I can only imagine how much extra heat and stress will be generated when road racing.

Can you use a tranny cooler or an external fluid pump to keep the gears in the transmission happy for extended periods, without receiving a penalty? If so, consider adding one or the other. I added an external pump to my MT82. Here‘s are some pics of how I did it. I’ve also added a video of me...

    S197 Badger - 2011 S197 Gen3 Swap

FYI, I found a spot to relocate the ground strap from the rear of the driver’s side head. I moved it to the top left transmission bolt which has a stud on it. Worked out perfectly. Thought I’d share that info. with you since you were also looking to relocate yours.

    MT -82 transmission cooler setup

Is it necessary to prime the pump before starting the car?
