I haven't had any issues with tech using the Quick Fit Pro. In addition to the factory seats, it is approved for use with Recaro Pole Position and Cobra Nogaro seats in already approved vehicles. I have the Nogaro Circuit seat. This combo maintains full access to the back "seats" and the...
My exhaust combo is smog legal and I still have to put the stock midpipe back on to get those sensors to ready up.
Just a Magnaflow X-pipe and Ford Racing axle back. I drove around for a long time before swapping back. The sensors were ready after only one or two drives.
My car is mostly street driven with the occasional track day. I have Bilstein "B6" shocks/struts with Ford P Springs and am really happy with them. 305 square Pilot Sport 4S on Apex 19x11, 25mm spacer. P Springs lower just enough but not too much. I run about -2.5 deg camber on street/track...
I second the advice above. Check the battery voltage. Put the exhaust as close to stock as you can. All assuming the tune is not turning off rear O2.
On my 2012, I could not get it to complete the drive cycle for the rear sensors unless I use the stock mid pipe. I only have GT500 axle-back...
So if you flash a tune for the track and then flash it back to stock after the event, you cannot pass SMOG anymore even after going through the procedure to put senors back into ready status?CA rules have nothing to do with the environment and everything to do with uiltimately banning all...
I'm also thankful for everyone here. There is an absolute wealth of info available. I was wandering in the dark before finding TMO...this site helped jump start my track day addiction.
I'm sure there are a large number of lurkers out there like me, that soak it all up but don't post regularly.
First time on track with the APEX SM-10 square setup. Swapped out the Ford Racing Shifter/Blowfish bracket for an MGW.
Both of those mods made huge improvements. Also changed to a billet grille with steel mesh safety-wired in (got the idea from you guys) and FRPP cooling fan.
Now I can swap...
I've basically been following the path of advice from everyone above and can confirm it is spot on. First track day, my only mods were shocks/struts, springs, and a brake fluid flush. Over time I have added better brakes/brake cooling, more negative camber, square wheel setup with better...

Signed...even though I'm in CA and there is no hope here. I wasn't aware of that site, so thanks! It's not about reducing emissions here, it's about getting everyone to pay up for the CARB cert.
Crazy that Los Angeles pretty much drove the change to strict emission standards but I am...
Finally upgraded to a square setup from the 20" staggered SVEs.
Didn't wash it because it's supposed to rain soon but snapped some cell phone driveway shots.
I need to take some nicer photos to really do these wheels justice. Really happy with how it turned out.-Apex 19x11" SM-10 w/ 305/30/19...
