  1. Ford Racing Oil Pan Contact

Ran about 7 events and no issue whatsoever. Pan looks great. Get yourself the clearance and it will be fine.
  2. Ford Racing Oil Pan Contact

I guess for $1K and it being OEM I expected a little better. It’s super close but oh well. The joy of mods….
  3. Ford Racing Oil Pan Contact

Both sides on the subframe web. It’s about a sheet of paper worth of clearance. This will get sawzalled. Then driver side right behind alternator, looks to be resting on it slightly. This will get BFH.
  4. Ford Racing Oil Pan Contact

I installed the 5.0/5.2 GT500 oil pan on my gen 1 and it’s contacting the subframe in 3 different places. Just barely but it makes contact. Tried moving the subframe forward but no dice, about to make it clear with the sawzall and BFH. Anyone else experience a similar issue?
  5. Ford Racing Coyote Oil Pan Install Question

I’m putting the Ford Racing aluminum oil pan in my 14. Some of the bolts are different lengths due to the new shape of the pan. Question is do you still follow the torque to yield procedure on these bolts as the ship manual calls out for stock install?
  6. Timing Procedure

Thanks for the replies gentlemen. Going to button up and send.
  7. Timing Procedure

Finished timing my 14 GT, first time timing a motor. Followed the shop manual. All chain marks are aligned on secondary and primary chains and to crank sprocket. Is there a secondary verification procedure to make sure it’s done right before I seal it up? i.e. spinning the crank a few times and...
  8. Oil Pressure Sensor

Thanks for the replies. I did find this guy that I picked up.this is exactly what I found and got. Thanks for the replies everyone!
  9. Gen 1 Yote Secondary Tensioner Changes

I will do that Monday. Hopefully that’s the case and I can keep ripping. Thanks!
  10. Gen 1 Yote Secondary Tensioner Changes

This is what comes in the Gen 1 Timing Kit. Why would these be supplied if they don’t fit? Lol. That the kit you are referring to? Looks like the correct longer version but hard to tell.
  11. Gen 1 Yote Secondary Tensioner Changes

I’m refreshing timing components on my 14 GT and noticed that the secondary tensioners are now shorter. A guy at my dealer confirmed the part underwent a change but the main cam cap didn’t. These look like they’re supposed to still be clip in by the stock retainer piece. Anyone encounter this?
  12. Oil Pressure Sensor

I am adding the Ford Racing gage pod with the oil pressure sensor. I’d like to keep the stock sensor in place and T off that spot for the gage sensor. Anyone done this and have a source for the T fitting that may work? Thanks.
  13. Axle/Spring Perch Alignment Issue

Photos loaded out of order. First is at droop. 2nd is at ride height. 3rd is DS at droop.
  14. Axle/Spring Perch Alignment Issue

Rear axle alignment question, 2014 GT. All control arms are Rod end BMR product, just went to a 1 piece DS and noticed something when setting pinion angle. Trans is pointing down 2.5 degrees so I set diff pointing up 1.5 degrees. After I tightened everything down I noticed how crooked my springs...
