Good to see that you are hanging in there. I have purchased the brake cooler kit, fire extinguisher bracket, shifter bracket, and front and rear tow hook kits for my 14 GT and love your quality products.
Ive got the BMR LCR relocation brackets set in the middle to compensate for the 1.4 inch drop in the back. Also adjusted pinion angle with adjustable upper control arm.
Thanks for all of the info. I'll try a setup with a little more stiffness in the front and reduce stiffness some in the rear for the Koni's and see how it feels. Do you recommend the same plan with the front and rear sway bars. I've read that the rear doesn't need as much sway bar. I have been...
I have a full Whiteline adjustable suspension setup with adjustable koni yellows, Roush 1 inch drop springs, and adjustable UCA/LCA/end links. I have the front and rear sway bars and koni's set at medium stiffness at the moment. Should I set a stiffer setting in the front and softer in the rear...
Thanks for the insight guys. Looks like no bigger than a 43mm offset wheel in the front is the way to go. I'm working with a coyote engine with a lower rev limit than the roadrunner so I'll keep an eye on rpm at the end of the straight at Dominion, Summit Point, and NJMP and see if a shorter...
My other concern is the gearing change with moving from a 255/40/19 to a 285/35/18. With 373's and a 6 speed, will I be pushing redline in 5th on the straights? I'm close already with the stock setup.
According to AM, the F14s are: Back Spacing: 7.1" (181mm) Offset: +42mm (1.7"),
so not a lot of difference.
I like the F14 weight at 20lbs, a lot lighter than the ones I'm looking at (AMR Dark Stainless Wheel - 18x10 @ 26lbs each).
I need to confirm if I can run 18x10 wheels on the front of a 2014 GT track pack car without any issues.
I have Koni yellows and roush 1.5 inch drop springs.
Below are the spacing and offset numbers.
Back Spacing: 7.2" (184mm) Offset: +45mm (1.8")
thanks
