  1. Accufab 84.5mm TB dyno tested on my 13' Boss

Probably not anytime soon. I think the 20-25 rwhp gain that I'll likely see doesn't outweigh the loss of my warranty. I'm satisfied with the power it makes now. So well balanced to the chassis...
  2. Accufab 84.5mm TB dyno tested on my 13' Boss

    You're welcome sir, my pleasure.
  3. Accufab 84.5mm TB dyno tested on my 13' Boss

^^^There. I quoted my own post from this same thread. I posted all the dyno sheets and info already.
  4. Accufab 84.5mm TB dyno tested on my 13' Boss

The mag article was ONLY for the CAI. I added the TB later on my own.
  5. Accufab 84.5mm TB dyno tested on my 13' Boss

Looks like there are 8 available from this retailer on eBayhttp://www.ebay.com/itm/Airaid-Parnelli-Jones-Cold-Air-Intake-System-2012-Boss-302-Mustang-Carbon-Fiber-/110910797405
  6. Accufab 84.5mm TB dyno tested on my 13' Boss

Ok guys, let me clarify and break down the numbers and mods. Here's the dyno sheet from the day we shot the tech article. The runs are, in order:1) stock CAI and stock TB using silver key (Runfile 002)2) stock CAI and stock TB using red key (Runfile 003)3) Airaid CAI and stock TB using...
  7. Accufab 84.5mm TB dyno tested on my 13' Boss

Yes the MVT was in place. No tune whatsoever. Exhaust discs are out. They have been since I bought it.I want to say the gains were more like 17rw silver and 23rw red key.
  8. Accufab 84.5mm TB dyno tested on my 13' Boss

I just saw pics of the article. It should be on shelves now....
  9. Accufab 84.5mm TB dyno tested on my 13' Boss

Great results!!!I wasn't praising these mods so highly for no reason. Now I will gain a little credibility :)My magazine test will have Airaid CAI results, but not TB numbers. However, I will post those as well when the magazine hits shelves. Thanks for sharing your dyno results!
  10. Accufab 84.5mm TB dyno tested on my 13' Boss

Hmmm... So it must be factory!Odd how some have them and some don't. Really curious about this one....
  11. Accufab 84.5mm TB dyno tested on my 13' Boss

Do you know for sure that the GT was 100% stock and unmodified? The point I'm trying to make is that my test was done as scientifically as possible under the most controlled conditions available. When we start comparing two different cars etc...the results become much less reliable.
  12. Accufab 84.5mm TB dyno tested on my 13' Boss

Hmmmmm.... That seems to be a low dyno number for your mods considering most stock Bosses are in the 370 range. Some dynos read lower or higher than others. One dyno jet could be 20-30 hp off (or more, or less) compared to one in another location. The only true measurement to tell whether or not...
  13. Accufab 84.5mm TB dyno tested on my 13' Boss

The spacer appears to be 80mm like the stock TB. So I wouldn't want to use it on the 84.5mm TB.
