Its been an unbelievably awesome season competing with Gridlife and SCCA in the 2020 GT500! We ran the entire season with the big dogs in unlimited class and I couldn't be happier with the results.Gridlife NCM Motorsports park: Finished 1st overall with a best time of 2:06.80 setting the...
Thanks! I’ve only run with NASA Great Lakes once. I do plan to run TT2 in the future but had to put the 350R build on hold until my Gt500 gets here. Definitely hope to see ya out there!
I unfortunately didn’t get the full lap on video due to my GoPro falling halfway through the lap. I ran unlimited 1 which was the fastest group. The 2:13 which was done in the first officially timed practice was good for 3rd overall out of all 190+ attendants. Unfortunately my shifter linkage...
I guess I forgot to post my new PB at NCM Motorsports Park...2017 GT350R: 2:13.82 GT4/FP350s aero, Hoosier A7’s.This was from TT Nationals last year. Hoping to bring my new CFTP GT500 this year. If it ever gets delivered that is...
Okay, I was already bummed that I didn't make this Barber event, but now i'm officially jealous! BTW Nick, I finally figured out that phantom knock issue from Sebring in December. The noise is definitely coming from the steering rack right below where the knuckle connects to the rack. Of course...
Make/Model/engine/trans/packages: 2018 GTPP
Track/Course: Talladega GP Raceway
Best Lap Time: 1:06.31
Brake Pads: Stock
Tires (Size & Model): Stock
Suspension: StockFinally got the 2018 out on track for the first time, and it performs very well. Definitely a step up from 15-17 performance...
Definitely! A little lead/follow between you and I would likely result in some killer laps! Here's the Video from Sebring. Jump to 15:10 for the 2:23 lap.
Thanks! You hit the nail on the head! I would say the entry to 17 is where I left most on the table. That, and I'm quite certain I can go through Bishops Bend flat out. Just gotta baby step my way up to it. But for just 5 total sessions at Sebring, I'm very happy with the 2:23.
Ran a 2:23.97 at Sebring this Sunday ('17 GT350R/Hoosier A7's). Missed Nick's time by a tenth! There's definitely more left, but with almost no run off, and lots of bumpy turns, Sebring demands a little extra respect. Still not bad for my first time at Sebring. Already looking forward to going...
To be honest, it's hard to say for sure. The ride does seem a bit firmer, but since I made multiple changes at once, it's hard to pinpoint one thing. My best guess is they are just slightly stiffer than the R springs.
@VoodooBoss Well between The springs, Eibach sway bars, and DSC controller I picked up just over 2 full seconds off my previous personal best. I'd say these mods were definitely a step in the right direction. The most noticeable difference is I'm able to drive in almost a full brake marker...
Can't wait to see this thing finished! There's a Red 350R from Michigan on the Chin Roster for Sebring in December. Is that you? I'll be there for that event. It'll be my first time at Sebring.
