Toe-in makes the car more stable.
Toe-out makes the steering more responsive, but potentially twitchy at highway speed.
Neither changes the steering ratio. If you had to turn the wheel a lot to make a sharp turn, toe doesn't change that.
If you're going to drive it on the street (besides to and from the track) I vote for OEM rubber.
A couple of my cars have NISMO bushings that are just rubber, but 4x harder than stock, and that's hard enough to make a crack in the pavement feel (and sound) like an impact.

Maybe on the cool-down. They must have known in advance that at 200mph they'd be getting enough air through the strip they left open at the bottom.

In a way, Ford tried this when they shrank the GT350s grill opening for the 2019 model year.
