I've decided to sell my Boss to get into wheel to wheel racing. The car is in Texas and i have a clear title in hand. Excellent condition with fresh brake pads and lots more. I'm asking $38k. Add below is a bit basic for this crowd, but gives the gist of the car.2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302...
i run these on my boss and they grip much better than the factory p zeros did on the track. they are holding up well so far too after a couple track days, 5k of street driving, and an autox.i have been saying lately had i looked around before id have bought a cheaper set of 18-inch wheels and...
lol, i think you are in the wrong thread.it's always interesting to me the differing opinions on track insurance. i'll probably never use it myself, at ECR crashes are few and far between. we are lucky in Texas, with so much space tracks rarely have anything to hit if you go off. worst thing...
my suggestion to you is don't keep insurance with state farm now and never, ever tell any normal insurance company you do anything on track. most of the big ones are known for dropping people if they find out you operate the car on a track.track day insurance is crazy expensive, i roll...
a-arm tsb, but the clicking is back. however, its not as loud or often as before. i think it might be the upper strut mounts not the a-arms this time. i have a decent amount of track time on the car, and those upper strut mounts have been known to fail. i think most of you guys that track a lot...
i use adam's polishes on my boss, but i buy super VRT+ from chemical guys rather than using Adam's product only because an entire gallon of the chem guys stuff is like $30. that is like a life time supply. i tape my stripes off, the adams folks recommended not waxing the stripes, or at least...
yep, if you mean the pedal sticking issue at high rpm, i have that problem on the 3-4 shift in my car. it only happens at red line though. i don't spin the car to red line since the torque peak is much lower down anyway so it doesn't bother me any more.
dude, is it only when you have the system set on fresh air? my car has an insane grinding/rattle from the passenger side dash. i figured out it only happens when on fresh air and at higher speeds. i would wager there is a mechanical door in the cowl on that side that opens to let the fresh air...
i pick my kids up from school each day and usually end up surfing forums until they come out, the problem is the forums won't always open when i want to talk road racing lol. anyway, if you guys are on Facebook feel free to join so we can talk shop and share events. it says Texas, but anyone is...
