Apex Forged Mustang Wheels | Performance Solutions for Street and Track

I personally won't be this year, but I believe a few others will be going periodically. Joe, mentioned above, is in charge of SpeedSF stuff and goes to any event they have.(oops, wrong account)

New 200 TWR tire coming out from Continental -- with some Hoosier DNA.

Was checking them out on TireRack and I see their weights are quite a bit higher across the board compared to this PDF Phils Tire Service has: https://philstireservice.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Conti-ExtremeContact-Force-Specs.pdfPlease weigh your 315s once they arrive, I'm quite curious...

Tires and Wheels for Autocross and Road Racing

We (APEX) recently came out with our SN-95 specific EC-7. 18x9.5" ET22 that fits a 275 all around without issue. Big brake clearance and a gorgeous deep concave face are added bonuses :)https://www.apexraceparts.com/shop-by-vehicle/ford/sn95-mustang/18x9-5-et22-apex-ec-7-mustang-wheel.html

Boss 302 tuning - a couple of rookie questions

The X4 automatically pulls the stock file from the car and saves it internally when you go to flash a new file on.If the vehicle has a factory tune on the PCM, when you take the handheld tuner to upload a custom file for the first time, it saves that factory tune file to the device. If you...

    315/30r19 square on 19x11 EC-7? (Base GT)

I recommended the 11.5" wheel just due to how wide that specific 315 tire is. I'd rather see you run their 305/30-19 as it's a better use of the setup, but if you really need to run the 315 then you can. It just won't be optimized on there.

    RE-71 vs Rival S 1.5

What were the other 200TW tires you used specifically? The AR1 had a lot of hype when it came out last year but seems to have quieted down a lot.

    WTB OP mustang spacers

Shamless plug, but APEX has 25mm spacers in stock and ready to ship. They're the lightest on the market. The image on the site isn't up to date, they're even more cut out than shown.https://www.apexraceparts.com/store/accessories/spacers/apex-25mm-mustang-spacer-kit.html

S197 WTB 18mm rear sway bar

I likely will have one available in a couple weeks. Doing some testing with larger rear bars to confirm but I don't see myself going back to the 18mm afterwards. I'm up near Portland however, not sure about shipping it. I'll be at Thunderhill on Feb 27th if that helps?

I have a dual pillar SOS setup if that's of any help. Currently has an Aeroforce Interceptor and Roush Boost gauge stuffed in it that I could pull out.

    A quiet axle back?

Magnaflow mufflers are generally pretty quiet while still maintaining good flow and low weight. I've run them on my last few cars and currently am using RTR axlebacks (Magnaflow streets with a different inlet) and love the way it sounds. They eliminate the robotic wub-wub sound most coyotes...

They're on my phone so I'll message it to you. It was on the car for something like 70 track days if my math is correct so it served me well.

    S197 Cory's Track Toy

Small update: A shiny new Cortex watts link arrived last month and I got the chance to install it over the weekend. I can't say enough good things about the quality and attention to detail with this kit. I went with the street version (poly/rod combo) as I have desires of doing a lot more street...
