@Bill Pemberton I'm happy Anderson products have worked out for YOU, but when you've been screwed out as as much much money as I have by Anderson then told their manufacturing problems are your fault.. yea not much of a repeat buyer or evangelist for their products.@Tonymustang302 Had several...
I would agree that's super funky.
This instance it is my drivers side.
Since I have 3 axles I think I'm whiling to get really dirty to figure out the process for this.
@mwjscn To validate, your above information is in reference to a Gt350 and Gt350 axles. Juts validating.
And yes thank you for...
I appear to be gaining a good collection of gt350 axles with just ripped boots. Ripped another one at Dominion 2 weeks ago after just 2 sessions. Anyone have suggestions or a boot replacement kit I can hunt down? Thank you.
I've run through SOOO many fittings. Couldn't find any banjo fitting that would fit. I didn't have much luck finding any short shaft 1/2NPT. I believe I got it to a good point to finish the setup.
@JeffV8
Yes I'm guessing not as that's what I got in various vendors.
You can see I originally had a 1/2 NPT and 8AN, the 16mm 1.5 is substantially smaller. I'm guessing I just need a AN8 and seal the heck out of it.
Here's one of the items I got...
@TMSBOSS
Drain and fill plugs on the 3160 GT350. ORB AN8? Attempting to find Banjo fitting that will work having difficult time running through amazon, jegs and earls.
It was a night and day difference between my S197 moving to my 15 GT PP and then when I got the GT350 it was like a whole new level and experience. I'd even contemplated the 2020 GT500 after a few test drives but still couldn't give up the 350.
My install of the lines was pretty simplistic in itself. Though I had the opportunity to install while the trans was out so this made the process pretty simplistic.
Small update on the Trufiber GT4 TC10026-A88KR-A hood install. So I discovered over the weekend if you don't shim the front hole on the hood mounting brackets with the supplied bolts will be slightly too long and start pushing up through the top layer of the CF. The rear hole has more space even...
I'd agree with this observation.
I don't see this as a massive issue. More of an annoyance. I purchased $3200 in uninstallable Anderson Composites parts, that to me, is actual disappointment.
While the ability to install the GT4 is an option, I've never been very impressed with the deployment...
Install is pretty straight forward. Its really all just shimming around the attachment points including the front bracket. Blue Loctite on the bolts. Reuse the oem hood bracket. If you determine you want to leave the CF exposed, then really not to much more to do after that. I've determined I'm...
