  1. Michelin PSS vs PS2 vs PS3

No, the PS3 and the PSS are different tires over here in the old world also. Some reading on PS2, PS3 and PSS: http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Article/Michelin-Pilot-Performance-from-track-to-street.htmI would choose PSS over PS2 any day of the week :-)/Swede
  2. Michelin pilot super sport vs Pzero

Thanks, I was very happy with the results. Also, Mustangs are not widely used as race cars over here and it's kind of cool to be the underdog. Got a lot of comments from the Lotus & Porsche guys; "Man, that car flies! What have you done with it?". "New brakes, that's about it :) Oh, that and I...
  3. Michelin pilot super sport vs Pzero

Spring took its time, but last Wednesday was track premiere this year. Finally...I went to a Norwegian track called Rudskogen, http://www.historisk-racing.no/admin/common/getImg.asp?FileID=9676. About 3 km long (1,9 miles), F1 standard, some elevation changes. Dry track, temperature 13C (55F)...
  4. What I've learned

What if you're only prepared to go 9/10 to have some safety margin - but still want to go faster to beat that 911? Time for an upgrade ;-)
  5. Mileage and Issues

12k here, only issue has been a dead battery. Oh, and the rear tires are worn out ;-)
  6. Michelin pilot super sport vs Pzero

Macker, I'll post my findings :-)
  7. Any value in replacing the stock panhard brace/bracket?

Oops... Don't drink and Tapatalk... ;-)
  8. Any value in replacing the stock panhard brace/bracket?

Same experience here, I changed to a BMR adjustable panhard bar and could feel the difference. The rear end is so much more planted and solid on turn exits.
  9. the Blacksheep lo buck, one person toe gauge

DG#56, I found this regarding toe out:Just Right Helps reduce understeer on turn-in Makes car more responsive to steering input Helps FWD and AWD cars counter their natural tendency to toe-in under throttle load. Too Much Makes car twitchy under braking Unstable in a straight line...
  10. the Blacksheep lo buck, one person toe gauge

A quick internet search resulted in a large number of articles stating that toe out helps turn in and induces more oversteer while toe in induces understeer. But there's no point in arguing about it, let's agree to disagree :-)/Swede
  11. the Blacksheep lo buck, one person toe gauge

Let's say we compare with downhill skiing. Beginners ski with toe in and turn with most load on the outer ski. What if the inner ski should toe out, ie be angled into the turn instead... Would the turn be quicker? Yes (if you'd still be standing...)!
  12. the Blacksheep lo buck, one person toe gauge

I read somewhere that the tires follow their turn radius better when you have some toe out. The outer wheel has a larger turn radius than the inner wheel. Therefore, the wanted turn angle of the inner wheel is steeper, such as when you have toe out. With toe in, the inner tire will be...
  13. Helmet Choices

Good choice, it got good reviews. And that price [emoji4]Not available in Europe, unfortunately.../Swede
  14. the Blacksheep lo buck, one person toe gauge

All theory tells me it's the other way around.. Front wheel Toe out will give faster turn in at the cost of straight line stability. Toe in does the opposite. There are some discussions about it here on BMO. [emoji4]Also, Wikipedia http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toe_%28automotive%29...
  15. the Blacksheep lo buck, one person toe gauge

My bad, I went back to my notes and I have been running -0,4 degrees at the most. Sry. -1 deg is a lot when it comes to toe.
