Car info is in the build thread, so is adding that a bit outdated? Did use my vorshlag plates to get -3.2 camber. First time not running in a novice group and PB went down 5 seconds :)
So what I am trying to figure out is, what I should be doing with throttle and brakes as I crest the hill under the bridge? In a lot of ways the car feels like I could keep my foot in it, but looking up hill I think I'll fly away. So I let off. The car definitely feels light as you crest the...
Yes sir, it is a total bummer, but cruising the web and dreaming. Axles are only a week old. 700 mile trip through the mountains after install. Signs of wear, now a rip. Terry @ vorshlag is also test fitting a new t-bar mount this week for the MCS dampers.
I emailed Ford Performance, haven't heard back yet. However, further looking around leads me to believe the will fit the serviceable axles with billit joints (as in the $1600+) half shaft kit.

Has anybody installed these? I have gt350 axles, and according to Summit they fit. I've had some issue with the boot contacting the springs on my coilovers. I am going to have a friends shop do new boots...
are you near TN in GA...then Dragon makes sense, but don't forget our roads here in GA. If you ever want to meet up some Sunday, I spend a good amount of time up there
The wheels were my first purchase and with 285 Michelin A/S's I needed 5mm to clear the stock suspension. Literally probably the widest section width 285 I could've picked. I put the longer studs so I could fit 305 when the time presented itself. If I want 2 to 2.5 negative camber by...
It is awesome getting to see more information on this car. Years ago I had started watching old NASA stuff on youtube. I had a 2000 GT that someone steered me towards Maximum Motorsports kits for. Through that guy and reading about MM I learned of NASA.
Watching the videos I always thought...
After over a year of dreaming. 6/21 I will be fulfilling a goal and driving my car not just on Atlanta roads....but the actual Road Atlanta!
My car has been in a pretty happy place lately R&M wise. I have a lightened work load with corona virus. Usually the track days are full before I can...
That's interesting. So the takeaway from this on bumpsteer kits is....If running stock to 0 toe, then bumpsteer kit is pretty useless. However if some degree of static toe out is already employed, controlling the amount of toe out added in compression could be a good idea.
Is it more about...
Thank you, I'm stuck exactly were everyone says to stay away from...mods and not track time. Had bad luck with intake manifold, fouled my cats, All my rear bushings got shot, and made my axle rub on the springs ruining the boots...$$$ just keeps flowing out. I hope to do some less expensive...
Your completely correct. I didn't re-read my reply so I'm not sure if there was miscommunication. I am not even close to considering racing tire takeoffs. I was just mentioning that I had seen them and one day it could be fun to try. I know it is silly (sort of) buying summer tires in late...
