    Fuel starvation solutions

Check out this string on the S197 side, but same issue: https://trackmustangsonline.com/threads/anyone-find-a-fix-for-fuel-sloshing-and-starvation.16346/If you read through enough of it, you'll come across my "2 cents" posts there. I did the fuel-pump add to the passenger side with a switch...

    Brake Pads for GT350

I see my post #101 above from 2021. I can confirm (and have since seen others report it), that the S550 6 piston Brembos will bevel pads due to all 3 sets of pistons being the same diameter. Seems to show up more when running on higher speed tracks that require heavier braking. I've gotten in...

    Trailer winch recommendations?

I've also been doing the Bo Duke thing for close to 10 yrs, and a winch has been on my to-do list for a while. Thanks for all the info above!

    Adjustable End Links

Two others that I've experienced: The upper spring perch / bearing (forget exact name) could be bad. Or, the one I chased for 1 entire year: The strut itself was bad, finally could see the shock's shaft moving while applying force to the tire.

GT350 - Wheels size for race track

I have a standard S550, hadn't seen those numbers before, thanks!

    Project Super Trailer

Not exactly the same thing, but seeing these pics made me think back about 8 yrs ago or so when I was a "softball dad", you should've seen how many girls' families had fold-able wagons about this size for carrying all their junk for all day softball tourneys! 😄

Apex Sale ---NOW, NOW, NOW !!!

Thanks Bill for the post in the General Forum, I don't always look in the Vendor page, so glad to see this! I've been running the Apex 18x11" EC-7's as my primary set and have been looking to add another set so my "back up" wheels no longer have to be my old 18x10" Forgestars. So, not fully...

Thinking of a 2018+ mustang for mostly track duty, occasional weekend car, looking for info

Thanks for the info, at that rate + a diff cooler, that oil should be in very good shape. I don't really drive my car on the street either. I'd say my change hours are in the same ballpark, but have deferred the diff change with the cooler, just have to decide...

Thinking of a 2018+ mustang for mostly track duty, occasional weekend car, looking for info

Couple quick items in this vein...Running a 2017 PP1. I installed my own Diff cooler - basically mimicked the FTB by buying my own parts and didn't want to fool with changing the Diff cover. Prior to this, I changed my MT-82 Trans and Diff fluid each year. So, with the Diff cooler, anyone...

New suit of clothes for the 21 Car

Love the Tennessee flag detail on the trunk! I'm in Texas now, but originally from Memphis, thus my TennTex handle.I've got Tennessee & Texas flags on my magnetic number plate, and also on my small read-side window. Someone actually asked me if it as a Confederate flag, ha ha!Looking...

Dyno Plug and traction/stability control? What's the deal?

Hey Randomtask, chiming in because I also use the dynoplug and run the same tracks as you, with similar times (except COTA, it's been several years since I ran there). I ran a switch to the dynoplug, so I can do it once for the entire weekend and not have to mess with remembering to hold down...

2019 Bullitt fuel pump failure while on E85 with BAP

Thanks for the tear-down pics of the fuel pump. If I'm seeing it correctly, looks like 1 brush is basically gone, while the other looks pretty good. Maybe it broke at some point, I would expect both sides to have the same wear. Any bits or excessive dust from it in there? Maybe long washed...

Anyone find a fix for fuel sloshing and starvation?

@stevbd Yeah, it is G's and track dependent. I'm referring to Motorsport Ranch Cresson turns Horseshoe-Boot Hill - Tombstone. I started at this track years ago and never had a problem, but have really been trying to push to improve lap times. In fact, when I first had it happen at track-out...

Anyone find a fix for fuel sloshing and starvation?

Great info in your post, especially the point about the fuel filter - sorry mine is an S550, but found this post helpful on "this side of the fence". I always read both, as there are so many similarities between S197's and S550's.Everything you said about the siphon/jet pump is correct. The...

Anyone find a fix for fuel sloshing and starvation?

Wow, that's odd, glad y'all found a fix! Reminds me of the basics I learned from my Dad while riding dirt bikes as a kid - you gotta have air + fuel + spark if you want the engine to run!
