Not really, ~100kg / 220.46 lbs more. It's really the 5th gear that sucks.

Stock E46 M3 engine (346hp at the dyno), and the Mustang is about 345hp with the intake and a tune (not dynoed at this time).Power is not the problem, the gearbox is.

It seems to be the answer from Ford on cars under warranty to premature failing of the rear bushings.
