Thanks guys, that’s what I thought. I bought them for my GT but never got around to installing them. It should make for a great first track day with the car.. I just picked up the Shelby a couple days ago, drove it home, parked it in the garage and left for vacation.Right now the only plans...
I was told by someone that installing rear LCA Spherical bearings will introduce binding with road racing cars and they are mostly for dragracing. Any truth to this, it confused me because I don’t understand how it could be true?
What year is your car? Catted Longtubes won't throw a code on 15+. I'm Not sure about 11-14's. No point in o2 simulators (spacers/Defoulers) if you have cats unless your tune is janky somehow. No need to turn off rear o2's unless you have a Coyote swapped car with a Ford control pack which...
Well, I never installed my GT500 oil pan. Instead I ordered a new car. I think I said it already, the thing is a beast and I think it's built better than that other more expensive FP pan.
I have a Procharger D1x. 15llbs with e85 is more than enough to demolish a hellcat on a dragstip or demolish your ring lands. My suggestion is a Stage2 P1x or D1x and it easily takes you to 800rwhp on E85. Buy enough blower for your end goals.A Whipple or VMP TVS will do about the same and...
Most answers you get here will probably be skewed towards Road racing. It's a track focus forum.Any one of the blowers I mentioned will be great on the street. Vortech/Paxton, Procharger, VMP or Whipple will all be great on the street, track or sidewalk. ..get good tires.
Procharger with an Air to Air because the power is linear and won't surprise you out of turn. It's more predicable and I argue much better with heat control than a TVS or Roots.
I gave up on my '16 GT and ordered a 2021 Mach Juan with the Handling Package, Recaros and *gulp* the 10r80. As per the usual post purchase self servicing, I started watching Mach1 reviews by certified Youtube turds.Where do you guys think the Mach will place? ...PP3/GT350 lite category...
Seems like they might be doing something like when they brought back the Taurus. Stick the name on something (Big is easier to design) while they worked on the real thing.I was all for EV but now that the EPA is showing it's power, I'm 100% against it. That still won't stop my wife from...
Very Nice! I've been looking for a great list to build out a cooler. Why did you use a 6an check valve and -8 on the rest? Were you getting too much flow with 8an or doesn't it matter because the derale is 11/32's?
I just hope they don't get rid of the SM-10's. It's the only wheel I like and have ever wanted on my car. If I can't get those, I'm selling my headache and buying a motorcycle. ..I'm only half joking.
Have any of you bought any of the Racecraft video courses? I bought the Fundamentals of Alignment and Practical Corner Weighting and they seem like good stuff so far. (for a track novice like myself.) I've done at home alignments and hillbilly corner balancing for years but they seem to go...
