I like this one too! I think black roof and red stripe accent. Torn between this and the solid red. Need an R!

Here's a better photo of the red R. The more I see them the more I think these cars do not need stripes.

I am going with stripes, but just trying to decide if I also go with the black painted roof. The only rendition I've seen is the liquid blue from the launch which I would consider if it was actually an option.

I agree but I wish they would follow suit after the boss and do the roof in another color. A black rook on a red car would look good.

You can get a black rood on any GT350 then paint the Tiger Racing hood (that you know is coming) just like cloud9 has his painted in his signature.

Another good option for the painted roof or hood is vinyl. You get the color you want for less money and it protects like clear bra. And you can always change colors.

This Quote holds alot of weight IMO. I would never paint to change the look up. Have roof factory color and vinyl it if you choose to go Black. Do not do it Black and vinyl it body color. Will never match. It's all about of having the best of both worlds.
As for the stripes... I say delete on stripes. But that's just my opion if I could afford one. To me, stripes are getting old. Very Retro. Thats what Ford was after when the did the Boss. And with the new body style S550. I say time to clean it up and take on a whole new look. It's a fresh start appearance wise. Kind of like the babes going bra less. You get to appreciatethe whole body... ;D
Well, thats the best I can do to defend the lack of stripes.

Google "yellow gt350" tons of pics of that combo with a black roof. I saw it at the Austin auto show last month. My only complaint is that I wish they'd gone with matte black for the roof, mirrors, wheels, etc. instead of the gloss.

stripes can be taken off. roof color changed. agreed that vinyl is a great way to go.
I've got an R lined up now...and I'm a light color fan...so it's white or avalanche for me. only question is stripes...blue with white, or black with avalanche...tough decisions.... ;-)

I really like monochromatic cars...and i think the gt350 looks great in all of the colors I've seen so far (without stripes)...but I think i'll start with stripes and then de-stripe if / when I want.

it is. they were showing it at Carlisle as well. I didn't hear any sound clips of it revving - suspect they didn't do that because, you know, after revving the crap out of the gt350r it would be a 'tough act to follow'
