That lap counts. Unless the AIM data was lost, and anyway I saw it on the AIM display with 2 other 2:29 laps as the 3 best of the session. Post it up Drew, I believe it was 2:28.73

Spent some time assessing the damage to Wally. The good news is I have space to store the car and break it down in the process of figuring out what can be re-used -- the bad news is that it breaks my heart every time I see it :( The bottom line is that the current car isn't making it back to the track anytime soon. Will take some time to figure that out.

Meanwhile I'm very fortunate to have been able to order a 17MY car. I just recently got the order confirmation and the silver lining is I have a lot of parts from Wally to equip Wally Jr.

Is it Wally Jr. or Wally II? ;D

Being a rare 2015 R I hope there is some way you can put it back together even if it's just a track or race car that never sees the streets again.
