Invoice Pricing?

Hey guys, anyone happen to know the invoice price on a new Boss with the Recaro/Torsen option? Anyone familiar with the current dealer incentives and hold back on this vehicle?

Thanks in advance!

Dealer invoice on a standard Boss (500A) is $36,850. The Recaro/Torsion option (947) is $1736.00. The Boss car cover (97B) is $413.00.

No holdbacks or other incentives available when I picked mine up on Dec. 14th.

Thanks for the info!

It would be interesting to see how many dealers have sold their boss inventory closer to invoice.

I would guess NONE have sold close to invoice. Sold at MSRP a good bit, most sold for 2k-10k over MSRP.

Maybe before they did. Now you can way more easily find them for under MSRP. I've seen at least 5 posts in the past month or so of dealers selling them for $1,000 or more under sticker price.

I actually ordered my 4th qtr allocation at MSRP on March 19th. I was not willing to pay over MSRP to get one earlier and I was not willing to take a chance on not getting one at all. So, to me, "at MSRP" was a deal.

Yes, there are several deals out there right now to be had below MSRP. For those that were able to resist up until now... congrats!

Yeah i'm with ya on that "at MSRP" is a deal. Glad to hear some are being bought for under MSRP.

I saw the dealer documentation when I was negotiating on the price. whether it was in fact the real numbers I can't prove. it showed the A plan price of $39K and some change, "invoice $41K and some change". Of course it's up to Ford to sell or not sell at A plan which they're not on this car. But the fact is there's some room for the dealer to come down if they want to move a car and this is the best time to deal, it's cold, Christmas is still on peoples charge cards and most importantly today the last day of the year is the best day to purchase a car.

The Boss that I ordered in April finally came in and is sitting at the dealer (#2627), waiting for my decision as to whether I will buy the car or not. So far, the dealer is only willing to go $500 under MSRP, and will program the Track Key for free. Seems to me the dealer should do better, so I have not yet decided. He made me wait for 9 months for the car, so he can wait a bit on me for my decision.

With TK you're effectively $1,000 under MSRP. Pretty good deal for this car. I'm not sure how many '12s are still on lots, but there can't be too many. Hope you get the car and someone else doesn't grab it before it's gone and you have to wait another 9 months for a '13. For how well this car competes with cars costing 2 to 3 times more, and it's cooler, we all got a good deal ;)

mine was 43100. the dealer sold it to me for 40200. not including the taxes and fees .so i think i got a good deal.

Yes, that's a very good deal. And at this time in the year that is how they should be selling with the 2013s on the way. Some dealers still don't get that though and want to tack on that ADM.
