Built in Dec 2010, Vin number ending in 199938. Race Red - track Key - Recaro seats - Brake ducts
No floor mats or car cover.
I ordered the owners kit from Ford but didn't receive it yet.

This is my first mustang and this thing is awesome!

Hopefully, one of the other MP owners will chime in...I think it stands for 'Mass Production' but that might not be right.

I'm a lil confused here. I've heard MP is manufactures prototype as well. But, my question is how could there be a Mass Production Boss built in Dec 2012? Granted I know they came out in 2011, but I'm just questioning about the MP question

It was built in December 2010, not December 2012. Mine was built on December 13, 2010

Yes several 2012 Boss 302's were built in 2010. The Press Intro needed preproduction Boss 302 units at LS for testing in the summer of 2010.

As the Mustang Team entered 2009, they were tasked with the development of a Gen2 Boss 302, so the Boss program was in the works for some time prior to its intro in early 2011.

The Boss U-Code engine first full race season was in 2010 with Ford Racing feedback for improving 2012 production engines.

In 2011 the Boss 302 Race Program saw Paul Brown, (RIP) bring home the triple Championship crowns for Driver, Builder and Manufacturer. A season were Paul matched Parnelli Jones 1970 Championship winning season.

In February 25, 2011 Motor Trend printed its 2012 Boss 302 First Drive impressions. It was a Black/Red 2012 LS. Might be an MP unit?

There is a lot of history with our Boss 302 Mustangs, and back in the day, it shook the Automotive world.

The Book we received from Ford has Boss 302 history and development news up to about mid year 2011.
