Video from Barber:

Corvette didn't like apexes. You were coming to him hard Nick, great driving as always. Shirt sleeves though? Must have been real hot.
Edit: A 1:40.00!!! you crushed the TMO track record. 350R's are mean machines.

Topeka Heartland Park full course 2:12.08.

Repaved in the fall. Nice course.

Track night 20 April. Nice concept. SCCA run. 3 runs starts at 4:00PM.

First time at Topeka. I was told this is a the first SCCA event in Topeka in a few years. We'll run, fun, short and sweet.

Thanks for maintaining this thread Drew. Will have a new PB for VIR for you to post, just hoping it stays dry for tomorrow so I can work on further improvements -- Sunday is going to be VERY wet

Lot's of East coast TMO members here and several GT350's and R's together with some fast Boss's and other Mustangs. We're sharing track time with CCR Ferrari's.

@2012-Boss, @PeteInCT amd I had fun passing the Ferrari's

Which is better, passing Ferrari's or Porsche GT3's?

1:37.200 at PBIR on a $50 TNiA. You can enjoy my mistakes and over driving and watch my hands slide up the wheel. First time on track since the Audi Event in December. I rolled out of bed, jacked my car up, added a pint of oil and headed to the track. Still stock suspension with my magical sticky BFG Comp 2's. Stock rev limiter gave me plenty of shifting practice. Enough with the excuses...

John was there, very fast (I don't think he is on here- he is on the FB page) He is the one I let by and try to chase. Other than a cone that decided to jump out in front of me and leave a mark (I need to upload that session) no drama.

And while searching video from this event I'm still faster than a 6th gen 1LE

Another great day at VIR. We were able to get in a few really good sessions before the weather set in and shut down the track. I had a great time hanging out with some TMO members and all the other car enthusiasts here, and I always learn a good tech tip or two from Nick (aka Black Boss) in the paddock.

And to keep this post somewhat relevant: this stock GT350R (save G-LOC brake pads) is consistently turning 2:09 - 2:10s with a 2:08:85 thrown in there. I love this car!

Glad to hear that you guys got some run time today!

Nice driving Tim. The guy in the BMW had nice crisp lines.

Just curious are you heel/toeing your downshifts?
Trying to LOL. I've had the pedals and spacer sitting in the garage since December. I do it correctly once in awhile. I need to space the gas pedal up and add the wider pedal because I do not have that magic flexibilty that I see on youtube. The guy in the BMW and John in the Mustang both have a better track set-up...and seat time.

Tim, two words: Auto-Blip. Your clutch and trans will thank you. Also your lap times will improve.

Had 2 great days at VIR with @PeteInCT and @2012-Boss staying in a trackside villa. Many other TMO members there and a great event in spite of loosing today to heavy rain.

Ran a 2:04.796 in Stock GT350 with Hoosier R7's. Will post an in car video soon, meanwhile here's a video from the villa of me being pursued by @2012-Boss thru the uphill esses and (after a small gap) the back straight -- the 350R was good for 153mph up there...
