Does anyone still make an open side pipe to replace the stock BOSS 302 quad pipes?
Kooks does not.

I loved my oem side pipes till they started leaking. When I went to kooks headers I heard you lost a couple of hp with the sidepipe setup so just got the regular xpipe. Glad I did because local tracks put sound limits and I just came in under as is. I think ARH might have one still? Or was it Dynomax?YellowJacketBoss302 said:Does anyone still make an open side pipe to replace the stock BOSS 302 quad pipes?

Ive sold a lot of baffles to guys that bought the aftermarket side pipes. You know how to find me if you need them.YellowJacketBoss302 said:Thanks. I'll check ARH and dynamax.
Winter sucks - the Oem pipes "neck down" quite a bit near the end. I want something that is open end to end.

Wintersucks.... you are the man!
Found a custom exhaust shop and they worked up some short pipes that come straight off the flange and terminate just inside the pinch weld. The only problem is they melted the plastic side trim. Will probable have them add a bit of a turn down on the end. Here is a picture of one. I will try to upload a short video of a drive by at Barber so you can hear them.
