Hunting for sounds in suspension and swapping out damaged Boss oil cooler. Its weeping so might as well fix it with a oil change. Any suggestions on coolants?? maybe should just go with distilled water and a additive like RP Ice?

Hopefully I will get the car out of the trailer and back into my garage this weekend...been doing some renovations at home; the BOSS lost her garage spot in the meantime :(

I am just here to report that I have nothing to report.
I did however put my 500's back in and set the ride heights to BOSS 302s specs.
It looks all bird killer and shiznit with all that rake they are asking for......lets see what it does at laguna on Sunday.

Peeled the cover off the back end of the Boss to hide Christmas presents for the wife and daughter in the trunk.

Maybe I should take her out for a spin to see what effect the added weight has on the back end?

Fabman:
Yes, even the production Boss 302 came with a noticeable suspension setup Rake. Last week I installed a set of Steeda Boss 302 rear springs and the Rake is back.

With only limited testing, the Boss handles surprising well and actually grips better off the line. Seems to like the improved weight transfer.

Good luck at LS tomorrow and I look forward to reading your track review of the new setup.

Snow falling this morning, first snow we are told to expect 3-5” of snow. It’s so quiet outside during the snow fall, no wind just coming straight down. Nice!
Snow started here a little after 8am..not sticking to the roads yet but the grass and my Truck are getting covered. As Hi Pro mentioned no wind with this storm so far which is a good thing! For some reason I can get drifts up to 2 ft in my driveway with a 4" to 8" storm...must be the same reason leaves love this driveway.HEY, this is driveway AERO! Snow expected thru-out the day into the evening so I'm tucked in for duration. It looks nice coming down until it stops and you have to go out and shovel it....:(

Our house is oriented east-west, we're only a short way from Lake Ontario so we get tons of lake effect snow, wind comes blasting across from the west and hits the back of the house. This, as the aerodynamicists know, causes a dead air zone on the east side with no wind so the snow just drops out on the front of the house filling the driveway and burying the front of the humble abode. You definitely want a snowblower here.

That's all of us who live within a mile of the shore of one of the Great Lakes.

Part 2 of that ad would involve regular deliveries from the "Bud wagon" when it can make it thru the drifts, zombie apocalypses, crazed UPS drivers suffering from SAD, etc, etc...

LOL!! Yeah, that's kind of me in spring, you tend to go a bit stir crazy at times, though my wife does make me shave now and then! Hopefully this year will be better, I have a small stockpile of parts to install on the car to maintain sanity.

And Rob's got that right for sure, living near the shore of one of the great lakes is definitely a challenge in the winter, if anything, his neck of the woods is even worse than where I am!

In my younger days, I had no problem with winter coming but as I gotten older winter is more of a burden than a pleasure. I feel the cold more...snow shoveling is more of a drag...can't wear my shorts anymore...I'm moving to Jamaica!!!!!

Backed the Boss out of the garage to put the cab on the garden tractor for snow season. Got 3" last Monday, and cold is here for the winter in SD. Boss will get an oil change and bath next weekend for hibernation.
Is this now a "What are you doing for winter" thread????? :(

Or recent purchases. ;)

I often hide gifts in plain sight. Nobody is going to look for their gifts in a box with SUMMITT, JEG'S, SPEEDWAY, MOBIL1 on it. Even if it's just one box on the top.

Forgot to mention earlier, OEM FakeR battery totally died. Must have internally shorted since it was showing less than 0.6V on Friday, just 48 hours after I removed it.
