I like where this is going!

Removed the entire dash as one single part. Tomorrow I have to figure out how to remove the heater box, front and rear glass. Already stripped the doors of all glass and window regulators. Side airbags have been removed.

Man you have been busy.
I guess there will be some GT350 parts for sale at some point to help offset the build.
I give you credit. I could never do that kind of work. However I fully enjoy reading and following your build. ;)

Yes, I will be selling all take off parts. The R seats, rear seat delete as well as the complete interior are available.

Now comes the dirty part, removing the sound deadener and seam seal.

Please pardon my comment, but why would you buy an R and strip it down like this? Why not a base GT350 or track pack?

This car started out as a GT 5.0. The prior owner Dean Martin did the R conversion including extensive engine work. It did not start out as an R.

I’m sorry
I just noticed your other thread introducing yourself and explaining it was a GT.
I tried deleting this post after i noticed lol.
I’m also in Michigan (monroe)
Great build!

What hooks are you using?
I have the ford performance front and rear hooks.
Are you able to share what your plans are?
Coil overs or mag ride?
Aero?
Wheel?
Brake set up?

I’m using Ford Performance tow hooks. Staying with mag ride and standard brakes for now. I’m going with GT4 aero: wing and front splitter.b4aece6cc4c66e93968a0c58bbe11523.jpge805542a124d802aba64a18f42e53c4f.jpg

Not sure on wheels but will probably go with Hoosiers.

I guess I was wrong. Decided to remove the door bars. I just cut them off. I’ll have my body and paint shop remove the spot welds. I tried to drill some out and decided not to continue. Those spot welds are not easy to drill through.7f0951a5ded08242f40f4d5d8c57bc2c.jpg

Removed the entire cabin wire harness. This had to be disconnected at the rear wheel sensors. Made sure wires were not exposed for cage welding and interior painting. It’s going to be challenging putting all this back together.f746e87a2e046c32bbfdac3e587909bb.jpg
