Very cool. We've had a few women TMO members but not many. Would like to see more.

My Mom was no racecar driver, but She did pick me up from high school once in a while, which was almost a 2 mile walk from home (just on the fringe of school bus service). No back packs in those days..carrying all those books was a pain/strain.

My wife was a Divisional Champion and Regional Champion years ago , autocrossing , and she stills tries to beat everyone at the stoplight, ha. Heck, gotta love the woman, as she is the one who pushed me to get into racing 37 years ago -- and she still never says a thing when new tires arrive.

Some of you have likely met Cindi Lux when she was running the Ford Performance School , or Instructing , so there is one fast woman! And kudos to Danica Patrick qualifying in 7th for the Indy 500!

Treynor mentioned to me , many a time, that his wife is a talent on the track , and he is pretty damn proud of her circuit prowess - as he damn well should be.

Great thread and nice way to honor those Fast Mothers on their special day!

my 17yr old daughter knocked it out of the park this last year in autocross in our little Focus RS...and got to do a little track work at the Adrenaline Academy. She likes driving. She goes for drives all the time just to unwind and have fun. I like that.

Andrea should be on the top of the list. Here She is at Limerock, July 2011 after returning from LeMans with some creepy fan...

Andrea Robertson before the race. First Woman to stand on the podium at Le Mans since 1932. First time ever a Husband and Wife finished on the podium ever. I was told Dave referred to it as the $3Million Bottle of Champagne...Racing is expensive.
