Grandson "Galaxy" is spending the week with us while his brother "Peanut" is getting house trained by Son at his abode. I hope this is successful as Peanut now will leave a tinkle where ever his bladder says to. Other things wait til outside. Me and Galaxy are getting much closer these days..I'll just leave it at that for now................Don't let your minds stray!!! We're talking about an almost yr old Pitt Bull and an over the hill Boss owner..........I got to get him a driver's license.............

Son came by this evening and took Galaxy back home with him tonight. The empty feeling I have now is bigger than I thought it would be.Oh well, I enjoyed him while he was here (both of them)................I'm gettin too old for this stuff..........

Giants Monday nite at Dallas...No big surprise Cowboys won.Eli has never attained the playing level as his brother Peyton. As an inherited Giant fan , I see another LOONNGG season coming. At least NASCAR has their playoffs to watch. Keselowski seems to have the momentum going in but I won't rule out Truex or Harvick...............Thoughts???????????????

Looks like a good year for Ford

Brad is peaking at a great time.
Harvick will be a threat. Joey also is a possible contender.
Unsure how heavy the unknown future for the 78 team members will affect performance.
Toyota in general appear to be loosing something as the season goes on.
Chevy? There is a Chevy in the playoffs? Sort of.
Should be fun to watch.

Had a BAD fall in the garage recently (LONG story) and my clutch leg is out of commission for a while.I've had bad vibes about this happening since I got my Boss because of things I read about others not being able to drive a stick after getting one for one reason or another and it finally materialized. Son was gracious enough to take me out for a ride in the Boss on Sunday to a Church affair featuring Kabasi Grinders! Boy, did we BOTH luck out! Son was in his glory that day going thru the gears!..Altho he missed 6th one tyme chirping into 4th...Not like I never did that in the early days of ownership.....:D..Good Tyme..Great Memories!!!

sorry to hear about your leg. Wish you a quick recovery! At least you have a back-up driver.
Thanks Grant for your concern. This brings to mind a phrase I heard long ago..."The richest man isn't the one with the most wealth. It's the man that has all his health" I trust my back-up driver, but back when I was his age, I don't think I'd trust myself in a Boss LOL............The apple doesn't fall far from the tree...

I missed the leg part on Monday when I was at Thunderhill. I hope it's nothing too serious and you're back to shifting your Boss soon.

I'm walking with a cane, so things aren't that bad. Stairs are my worst enemy! You don't realize how many stairs you have in your house until something like this happens. Now I know why they make ranches. At least I can still drive the truck..it's auto.

Bob,

Sorry to hear about your bum leg.
If you need any help I can have a friend who lives on Rikers Island take the Boss and look after the car for you.

Tyme, Thanks SO much for your thoughts!!! But the leg is feeling better as I type!...I hope......Son will fill in if needed..............Riker Island Boys can stay in their canoes...and continue their swimming lessons...:D

Son has left our two "grandsons" Galaxy (11 mo old Pitt Bull) and Peanut (4 mo old Pitt Bull) for us to "watch" this weekend while he takes his new main squeeze to Atlantic City this weekend.AHH the joys of Grand parenting ring true more than you can imagine! BTW,Little Peanut still hasn't got a handle on peeing outside yet..........I'm getting some Pampers..............Leg injury update..Doc says I should be able to turn some RPM's in the Boss in 2 or 3 weeks.....I hope he's right!!!...Son took me out again in the Boss today and my average MPG rating has went from 17.2 to just barely 16.0....Guess who filled the tank today..............;)
