Great looking build, M1 Concourse is a beautiful track, i was there in the summer, What are you going to use to control the diff pump? thermostatic switch?

Will the cooler get enough air up against the floor?

I will have a toggle switch that I will turn on after a couple warm up laps. Oil should be warm enough not to damage the pump.

Full tilt boogie has a similar setup. I also saw KohR Motorsports do a similar install on a customers car but it was inside the trunk. I think there will be enough air flow since it has a built in fan. I may use the same cooler setup for the trans. I have a front mount setup now but may mount one in the spare tire well with a built in fan like the diff cooler.

Where those SS lines go through the body shell, it would be wise to provide more stabilization. Anything that can move will move, and even stainless can be cut through if it vibrates long enough. If I were doing it, I'd make the openings in the sheet metal a little larger and wrap the SS line with a short section of heater hose. The holes should be just the right size that the line is firmly gripped as it passes through the panel so it can't move. If it can't move, it can't wear.

I agree. I used electrical tape but that’s not robust enough to prevent damage. I can also use a grommet but a heater hose will do the same thing.

I thought about rubber grommets, but they're soft and not particularly heatproof. Nylon bushings or SAE 30R rated fuel hose would be even better - tougher and more heat resistant - if you can find some, but it's hard to find in sizes larger than 1/2".

The problem with bulkhead fittings is that they provide four more places that can leak.

The problem with bulkhead fittings is that they provide four more places that can leak.

First of all, the hole isn’t to be snug fit for the braided hose to pass through.
Second the grommets are not getting hot enough to become melted or to fail.

I have room to move the pump under the tire well. Plenty of room after removing the carbon fuel canister.

Test fit placement under car with 8250RPM’s help. Looks like this will be the location. The zip ties are temporary [emoji3].
The zip ties look kinda stylish ;-) A couple of those and a big blob of construction glue - job done!

Seriously though, that's a better solution - good call!
