Giving this road trip some serious thought.....
It's not often that we get these opportunities in the Nor' East.
Anyone familiar with this group?

This looks like fun! Anyone else going?

Just a few pics and a video tease of some of the 35 cars that went on the trip. Really cool experience. Well organized event that raised $20k for the Marfan foundation.
Met some great people, had a lot of laughs and ran with some nice cars. Mustangs (PP1, GT 350, Tuned V6), Porsche's, a Viper, Maserati, Jag F type, BMW M5, Shelby Raptor, AMG , Focus RS in Gulf livery and a nicely tuned 2018 Zo6 vette among others. 1 driver was ticketed on the way out of Boston (Crazy Canadian in a "champagne" Porsche) and another later in VA (GT3RS). The rest of us managed to stay out of trouble. We were well received everywhere we went. Stopping for fuel or food was an instant car show as was the cordoned off hotel parking.

In addition to Dominion Raceway, We did a bonus day and 18 or so of us ran (spirited driving?) the winding Blue ridge parkway in VA to the top (3000 ft elev). Took some group pics and drone video and then charged back down the hill. Turned out to be way more fun than running the track in 104+ deg temps we had the previous day.
I'm pretty sure there were a few cows that gave out some sour milk after we went by....
The only downer (if I had to pick one) was getting caught in the rain on the ride home. (1st time :().
Looking forward to next year.
