Looks good. In for pictures installed. Called tesla re jacking and they say it is OK to jack under a single point. Still wondering about parking brake. Users manual mentions an electronically activated "parking brake" when the car is in park.

My bet is the “parking brake” is in the motor and not the brakes.

Finished the last of the chicken and sausage white chili last night. My wife and daughter gave up on it two days ago. I think I got my daily fiber intake covered for the rest of 2018.

I think that technology is great, but I think the cautious driver with the slow roll-out prevented the involvement in the incident. Looking closely at the video, the rear bumper is not even clear of the crosswalk striping when the brake lights come on. It stops in like 4 or 5 feet. And I think there's 8' to 10' clear between the cars based on the distance between the shadows as the black car crossed in front of the Tesla. So it was close, but not as close as it appears in the video.

This is also why I look left and right when I'm at the pole and get the green light... even if I'm just looking for the local LE. ;)

Yup, exactly. I think I've never been in an accident in 40 years of driving (knock wood) because I always assume someone else is always about to do something stupid. It comes from riding a motorcycle on the streets as a teenager. Look once, look twice, look again... go.

Running a red lite at full speed is ALWAYS stupid and deadly! That happened in front of me the other day. A second later and there would have been a big bang.Ends up that nut was in front of me at the next lite....he sure gained a lot of ground?...It seems to me nobody knows how to drive these days or they just don't care.....probably both.............

A DUI texter is even worse!....Daily driving is a lot more challenging (dangerous) than it used to be.I don't even go out at nite anymore. This thread has run all over the place...Back to topic...That Karma is a nice looking car. EV's are coming, but I'm not giving up my Boss!!
