Google Marshall Mast / SCCA if you don't think stock 3 valves won't run..

Is there a specific year I should look for? I did a quick search and saw he won the last two years, but didn't see anything specifically about a 3v, but rather a newer V6. Close enough though.

You bring up a good reminder about classing though, even if it might have been unintentional. The 3v has always been fairly competitive in the classes it normally competes in (at least, I think it has...).

Question: I have the Ford Racing intake, which is supposed to seal against the hood. I also have the Trackspec louvers (just the sides, not the center yet) and one corner of the driver's side louver is over the intake, which means air would be passing through the intake and out the louver. Does this have any negative effect on the intake's performance?

With the S550 power pack 2 and 3 it seems popular to blank off the top of the air box with lexan to avoid 1./water dripping in the vents onto the filter and 2./the dreaded hot air induction. Makes sense to me. I just finished doing mine, not a difficult job.

Must. Pictures. Now.... please...
You and me both. Unfortunately, as I am currently in the faraway land of Nippon, all of the stuff I buy goes straight into storage alongside the car until I return to the glorious Homeland in approximately 1.5 years.

To date, I have:

- FRPP Hot Rod Cams
- FRPP Shorty Headers
- FRPP X-Pipe
- FRPP High Performance Radiator
- Ford High Performance Cooling Fan
- Ford High Volume Oil Pump
- Multimatic UCA
- FRPP Boss 302S LCAs
- FRPP One-piece Driveshaft
- Boss 302 Strut Tower Brace
- FRPP Steering Wheel
- FRPP 62mm Throttle Body
- FRPP FR500S Axle-Back
- FRPP LCA Relo Mounts
- FRPP Motor Mounts

Sitting in boxes waiting for my tender, loving touch.

My sanity is starting to wane.

Adding Apex 18x11" EC-7 wheels in satin black to the list of things piling up in storage for me to play with.

Looking at your list of mods, I'm hoping to see offset struts or wheel flares sometime in your future. These wheels will poke about an inch and require lots of camber to fit. Do you have a game plan or something in place to make the 11" wide wheels work?

Offset struts from Cortex already installed. I made sure to check the options to allow larger wheel fitment. I will probably have to cut out the strut towers a bit too, but I am already at about -2.1-2.4(?) camber so shouldn't have to cut much (I don't have my spec sheet with me right now to double check).

I’m just getting going on my 3v build that I hope to drive soon.

I’ve read some guys saying stay away from bracing as it’s not needed. How is the Che k member brace?

I bought that to try and clean up shifting a bit, not for any additional chassis bracing. I honestly couldn't say if it helped and plan to toss it in favor of the OEM Ford k-brace and a Blowfish Racing bracket to take care of the sloppy shifting.

Additional bracing is not necessary, except maybe where Ford added OEM bracing, and even then I doubt most people can really tell the difference.

Be sure to start a build thread so us 3v stepchildren can follow along! I'm compiling a list of threads on here that are specific to 3vs.
