Guys:

I've fit up my 2013 Laguna splitter today and there's an issue...the forward bolt locations for the undertray are now covered by the splitter and can't be installed.

The Ford install instructions don't exactly have an answer as the photos they use for this step are WITHOUT the splitter installed.

How do you guys deal with the front fasteners for the undertray?

Note clearly that splitter is NOT installed on the underside pics...

Thanks in advance! :)

It seems to me this issue has come up before. Good luck with the install either way.

Update--I used a holesaw to create the required clearances--worked like a charm.

@Badger yes, that may be one of my summer projects--including material change to Alumalite or other similar stuff. That would also allow me a bit more room to integrate splitter tunnels, as well as to create a support structure to cope with the additional DF that those would generate. I don't think there is really a reason in either case to ditch the rods, however.
