Glad you are okay my Brighton Boss Buddy, and I am sure TMS likes your reference that you were out of Lifted Spirits Vodka and had to step down to that funnknee Frenchy Wodkah? See , going to the Mustang Roundup, and meeting TMS, has made you an even more cultivated dude than you already were.

You , for one , will always be able to say the Track Event in Hastings was an uplifting experience? Stay warm, stay safe , and the winds you had are headed our way -- supposed to be hitting 50-60mph gusts soon!

Really bad for lots of friends and co workers. At least 5 had to move out of their housing district near the Platte River as it is way over flood stage. Liz and I are not near the river , but we have a stream that goes through our valley. Thankfully it is 30 feet down a below an embankment, and it never has gotten up that high. Sounds like surrounding areas will hit flood crests on Sunday , so not over for many, and in some areas it is said to be worse than the huge flood of 2011, so big impact for Nebraska and Iowa.

Glad you're ok Bill, but sorry to hear about others. Saw on the news a dam on the Niobrara river south of Yankton got destroyed.
Flooding in Sioux Falls too, and some in Brookings. But we still have lots of snow on the ground. If it warms up fast and melts it, more flooding will happen. My town is on a hill, and on sand, so I don't even have a sump pump in the basement.

Thanks for your concern and surprising how just about 150+ miles North of us you still have alot of snow. Practically all gone here ,but do hope you get a slow melting as downstream from you we don't need anymore fill in the rivers , quickly. Have a feeling Raceway Park of the Midlands may be under water,as the Interstate 29 is flooded right there!!!

Yes, we have a LOT of snow left. Just took this pic, and this is about 2/3 of what was there before it started melting last week.
The pony coral is down the sidewalk.
