Link below for a Mustang and Fords only track day event at CMS in Concord, NC. Event is on a Thursday and Friday to celebrate the 5th year of me owning my '05GT (or the 55th anniversary of the Mustang).

I'm signed up for Friday only, and I'll trailer the car down I-85 the 1 1/2 hours from High Point on the morning of the event.

I believe they are trying to get it scheduled annually. The Mustang Owners Museum is being completed near the track, and to generate interest they are putting together celebrations. The first time I can recall the Mustang focused event was for the 50th anniversary.

I posted the event here because it is not on motorsportsreg, and needs a little word of mouth to fill the field.

I'm signed up for both days. Just ran Daytona with Optima USCA. Sebring hopefully next week.

I hope to meet some fellow racers and TMO members in person. I have 28' silver gooseneck with Ford and other logos plastered on it. Stop by and say Hi.

FYI, (just for clarification) this is the first time an anniversary event has been associated with the Mustang Museum (since it is brand new). I attended the 30th, 35th, 40th, 45th, 50th, and 55th anniversary Mustang events and all were held on or about April 17th of their respective years. Several of these have been at Charlotte Motor Speedway. They also did events at Barber/Birmingham and Nashville. Mustang Club of America, Ford, and many other vendors and Mustang-related companies have been involved and supported these events. I've now tracked three different Mustangs at these events.
