Hi,

I've been a ford guy pretty much my whole life, but until the coyote came out in 2011 there wasn't much they made that i really thought was awesome.

At that time i was driving a big turbo subaru... now... a few years later i have a 2018 Gt350
Her name is jolene because.... my wife is worried about her taking her man.

I also have a '57 thunder bird, a '61 galaxie being turned into a drag car, a 1999 f150 for random truck duties, and a '13 wrangler Rubicon for off-road duties.

Ah, just let mama know your new mistress will be in the same house ( in the garage) as her, so she can always keep an eye on her?! The only problem is when you get Jolene a new accessory , mama will be wanting to accessorize too, ha,ha!!

Love the color and it is actual quite rare , so you won't see yourself coming and going -- congrats! Personally, I am a big fan of the solid color on a GT 350. We just ordered a solid black one for our Omaha Store, since we have not done a black one for a couple of years.

We have established a "New Purse" can cost more than a new transmission. So beware.

Welcome to the site. Nice collection. A Baby Bird is one car on my bucket list.

@Sumfoo1 welcome to TMO. Nice gathering of cars you have.

Hello to all. It's been awhile since I've been here. At least 4 years???? Sooo I figured I'd start over with an introduction. LIve in New Joisey.

Been a Boss 302 lover for years. Started with a 2012 Boss 302 in Comp Orange back in 2013. Did my first track event with Team Shelby in 2013 at Summit Point and became hooked. My son at that time was DD his '07 Shelby GT. Was hooked on track events. Began tracking it at NJMP, Lime Rock, Watkins Glen and Summit main. Eventually did some mods and decided to by a full on race car and sell the Boss 302. I bought a S197 Mustang built to Boss 302R specs with all FRPP, Penske suspension/coil overs, Boss 302 motivation with Oliver Rods and Cobra Jet Manifold about 4 years ago (Name: "Thor"). Also turned our 2007 Shelby GT into a full race car (Name:"The biznitch" with Phoenix Performance in Phoenixville PA. Took the Bertil Roos 5 day race school about 5 years ago.

Now both my son and I instruct with NASA and HOD. I just love being at the track.

The only Boss I don't have "yet" is an original 69/70 but working on that. LOL.

After I sold the 2012 Boss 302 I missed it so I shopped for a 2012 Laguna. Picked up LS0046 in Ingot Silver with 900 miles on it about 4 years ago. Now it has 2000 miles on it. Love it. I do get the itch for a 350R at times but can't get myself to give up the Laguna.

Other cars: 2005 Ford GT; 2019 GT3RS and 2012 Porsche 987 Spyder.

Will post some pics!

@Thor 302 I think your son may have been an instructor for me a few years back. NJMP, 17 April 2016. You had a black Raptor tow vehicle? I could be wrong but I thought he was driving that 302R you pictured, very distinctive colors. Post up a build thread on that 2007 so I can add it to our 3v sticky!

Guys thanks.

Chris, yep that was us. Glad you stuck with it as far as track events. Seat time is key.

Brandon usually drives Thor. Candidly it’s to brutal for me. He’s fast. Ran in the high 56s at Lime Rock 2 weeks ago.

Had the Shelby (“The biznitch”) converted at Phoenix Performance. They did a great job. Runs great. I’ll also post a build list here. Dyno’d at 370 rwhp.

We’re At Watkins on 7/22 and 7/23 with HOD. Let us know if your going.

Right on, that was a fun day. I think I've done about a dozen days now at various locations, so I'm fully hooked.

I'm no longer living in the area, otherwise I'd definitely stop by. I'm hoping to be back stateside towards fall of 2020, but don't know where yet.

Looks like I've got some new wallpaper material from those pics! That Shelby is sick, I look forward to the details.
