Complete agreement on this issue, as overall this will save you a ton of money. ThE Apex rims will likely not be that much more or even close to the same that someone may want for the factory rims, but once you have a set ( my advice is to get them squared ) you can rotate the rims and boy does that save tire life on the track. Moving race rubber around has huge benefits when running on road courses. A squared set up of 19x11s ( sure you will need a spacer up front but that is a cinch) gives you the ability to put some solid rubber down and you will have good choices with both DOT Comp Tires or 200 Treadwear rated rubber. Cool part is you can get tires through the Tire Rack link on this page and that even helps support TMO!?

Have two sets of Apex rims , myself, and having raced for 38 years I can say these beauties are not only reasonable , they are built to fit ( unlike so many choices that are not hub centric ) and the quality is top notch!

I have to agree with the above 2 posts, BUT, if you really want OEM wheels Rock Auto sells reconditioned GT350 wheels from Keystone (who make them for Ford) for around $230, they don't always have both sizes though. But really, the OEM wheels are heavy anchors and I'd get anything but them, they're really not a good choice for track use.

JDee has a point , but when you think that you will likely have right at a thousand with shipping on a set of OEM ( overweight equipment manufacturer) ,and they are reconditioned ( lovely thought while at speed on a track about just how reconditioned the rims may have been?) why bother. Still stuck with a staggered rim set up and for not much more you could get a set of Apex rims.

Lightweight , better option for track use, new and no concerns --- I admit to bias about reconditioned rims when I have no idea the degree of repair??

..........and guess what the 19s are on sale right now ( 52 offset ones , even ) . Heck , you are in Cali, you might be close enough to just drive up and get them???

Well, there you go, good guess from the cornfields of Kneebraskee that you were close to the Apex Warehouse, and our exalted leader confirms it ! Have you gotten your new wheels yet, ha?
