Was getting ready to qualify tomorrow in what looks like a very wet afternoon.... I have my new street Dunlop Sportmax tires ready in 275/35-19 and was looking for setup tips for the rain... Are all of these valid?

1) Remove rear sway bar...
2) Soften front bar..
2) Soften suspension front and rear.
3) Install tune with TC on o_O
4) Not sure about tire pressures.... Imagine they will not heat up...
5) This one is a little odd... Install overweight mechanic in trunk... may not be legal...;)

Loco Ramirez es gordo? :D ;)

I would run higher pressures. I'd set for your target pressures to be at ambient temp or temp of any standing water you can find.

Do you have pressure/temp charts like Rob taught us?
err.... no... looks like I should have. I did for the nice ideal dry warm fast days... but it will be around 12C tomorrow. Saturday is Race day and it is supposed to be a little drier with scattered showers.

Bump your normal cold pressures by 5-8 PSI or so at the very least. More if there's standing water or steady rain. Don't exceed your normal hot pressures.

All I ever adjust is tire pressure.

My experience indicates that unless its 100% going to rain all day, dont make any difficult adjustment. Like all I ever do is adjust shocks (softer) and higher air pressure, and the tire choice. Seems like it dries out more often than not. I never touch a sway bar. It just isn't worth the effort.

That video at road America is great in full wet. At road Atlanta back in March, it was 45 and raining in the morning, and just misty by my sessions. I ran the dry line, sans curbs.
