I don’t know how much interest there is in the DCT system created for the GT500, but I just spoke with Tremec and they confirmed that there is at least a three year moratorium on the transmission for the aftermarket. Too much of the development was with Ford so they are not working on any aftermarket solutions.

I agree. The problem will be the cpu that controls the transmission. Getting that to mesh with the ECU likely will not be easy...but here is to hoping

“This is a watershed moment for us at TREMEC,” said Matt Memmer, TREMEC engineering director. “All systems and subsystems – including hardware such as low leak solenoids, to control systems and software to optimize the performance of the system – were internally developed for maximum performance.””
