Kona Bob, You may have bitten off more than you will ever chew as far as reviewing your track experiences across this continent. Many addicts have their favorite place where they play and realistically you can't get to them all. Limerock , here in Ct, is a small track with different elevations....I'm sure you'll be more challenged at Watkins Glenn.....;)

Bob it was great to meet you at Sebring last week. I was running the other GT350 white w/ blue stripes. Thanks for the info on the GT350 and showing me how fast the car can be as you passed me. Have a great marlin season and enjoy the rest of your track tour.

Woops pushed the wrong button. Trying to reply to Bill and Tony ( I hope I remembered that correctly) at the same time. Tony is getting started with the addiction. His new Shelby GT 350 is a very nice car with the traditional white and blue Shelby colors. It was nice to meet you and your Family, looks like a very happy bunch. He was stretching it out at Sebring. He has a wife , daughter and son -in-law all getting ready to join the addiction. There are fewer things better than Family racing, lining up at grid together and chasing each other around the track.
Best of luck with all of that.
Aloha,
Bob

Hello 302Bob,
Been trying to get Limerock in the que but seems like it is going more towards a private/special event track only. Any suggestions??
Thanks,
Bob

Okay TMO Members, from now on when you meet the intrepid Kona Bob remember not to address him with a quick " Mainland " slang like, " Hang Ten, Bro, " because in chatting with KB he informed me he has now run 100 twenty minutes sessions since embarking on his Track Attack Bucket List! Therefore when meeting KonaRobert at a Road Course , bellowed out in your best racer voice , " Yo Bob, Hang 100!!!!"

Hello Bill. First of all, thanks for confirming my membership in TMO. My GT350 was purchased in August of 2017 at the prompting of my wife. All she needed was the sound of the exhaust and she was hooked. It's number H3553, Ruby Red with a Black roof. No stripes, Recaros and a wired in radar detector....Ladar is rarely used here. Since you know Bob, you know that this island doesn't have a dedicated road course so SCCA events are held on a go cart track, which tends to favor smaller, lighter nimble cars like the Lotus Elise. Bob's foreman Kenny, well his former foreman since he's retired, tracks his C6 Z06 at those events, however welldoes quite. His next event is on the 28th of this month so we'll be there to cheer him on. I'm more of a street driver as I drive the 350 daily; not a trailer queen. She's meticulously cared for but they're made to be driven. I don't recall any other car that I have owned that was this balanced, sure footed, provided mote pure automotive symphonies or placed smile on your face, or at least an evil grin, every time you drove it. It's never lost a street battle as you may beat me in the quarter, but I'll catch you, then pass you and leave you. I bumped into Kenny at an Hawaii Classic Cruisers event on July 4th (check out our website at www.hawaiiclassiccruisers.com or Hi Classic Cruizers on Facebook) he brought me up to date regarding Bob so after a little research, I found TMO. Bob's quite a guy. Every January he takes a small contingent of car nuts to the University of VARA, held at Buttonwillow Park in Southern California. I didn't get to go this year but am planning to be there next year. As for my username, Paniolo, I have a small ranch here on the Big Island. Use to run cattle in my younger days but now only have a couple of horses, some chickens and a couple of dogs. Getting too old for getting thrown off of horses so now I ride the GT350.
